NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley trashed alt-left antifa anarchists who are tearing down statues they suddenly find racist, saying they need to calm the hell down.
Barkley slammed the liberal lunacy of destroying confederate statues around the country because they’re “racist.”
Leftist anarchists had no problem with these same statues during the 8-year presidency of Barack Obama — the nation’s first black president.
The historical monuments only became “racist” after President Donald Trump took office. Why? Because today’s liberalism is a mental disorder marked by hypocrisy, a willful ignorance of facts, criminal behavior, and selective outrage.
Barkley — who was born in Alabama — shared his thoughts in an interview with Rick Karle, the sports director at WRBC-TV in Birmingham, Alabama.
“I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these confederate statues,” said Barkley, who has voted mostly for Democrats during his life. “That’s wasted energy.” He continued:
You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to keep doing great things. I’m going to keep trying to make a difference, No. 1 in the black community because I’m black. But I’m also going to try to do good things in the world.
I’m not going to waste my time screaming at a neo-nazi who’s going to hate me no matter what. And I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these statues. I’ve always ignored them.
When asked what we should do about the confederate statues, Barkley quipped: “I’m 54 years old. I’ve never thought about those statues a day in my life. If you ask most black people, they haven’t thought a day in their lives about those stupid statues.”
Barkley — who has long called for an end black-on-black violence — said African-Americans need to focus on important things, not on empty virtue-signaling symbolism that does nothing to advance their cause.
“What we as black people need to do is: we have to worry about getting our education,” he said. “We need to stop killing each other. We need to try to find ways to have more economic opportunity. Those things are important (not worrying about stupid statues).”

I’m not a fan of these statues, but they’re public property. Vandalizing them is a crime, just like vandalizing someone’s home is.
There are lots of public artwork and monuments I find offensive because they’re ugly. Do I have a right to tear them down because I’m a minority who’s offended? Hell no.

Since the alt-left antifa continues to destroy public property they suddenly find offensive, what’s next? Should we also tear down Mount Rushmore since it has the faces of slave owners Thomas Jefferson and George Washington? What about the White House? Slaves helped build that.

Fine by me. Staying off my property’s the best way for those A is whatever I want it to be types to keep their dreams alive.
If you are put in chains due to inability to prevent it, you can say “But I’m an anarchist” all you want, but you have lost your liberty of mobility. If your tongue is cut out you can say “Buh uhm am amarhist”, but you have lost your liberty of speech.
It will be regained in death… but down here… it’s you in open competition with the Globalist’s way of exercising the same possibilities available to all in the reality of anarchy (which is not the same as the idealism of anarchy).
What I am & what I can do are two very different things. That goes for what I am & what I used to be able to do, too.

Best way to parse idealism, I think, is simply the question “is it true?”
All truths are ideals. The ones more taken for granted now, no longer seen as ideals, at one time weren’t – which didn’t make them any less true, despite the majority headcounts that wanted to maintain their look-down perches, by lying.
Anarchy is reality, true. Subversion of reality, largely out of fear, brings chaos. Which feeds fear. Perpetual motion machineman, so far.

I’m so tired of the “words mean whatever I want them to mean” set. Sloppy language makes sloppy thinking which leads to wrong conclusions. Anarchy (a word derived from Latin, not from Latinos, “progressives,” or alt-left snowflakes) means absence of rulers, not rules. Anarchists believe in voluntary, not forced, government, and the rule of natural law, not the artificial statutory opinions of some men and women calling themselves “legislators,” who are willing to kill to force those opinions on innocent people and steal their property.
A “leftist anarchist” is an oxymoron. A leftist is a collectivist who loves the state and wants more of it…as long as it’s not controlling him/her. An anarchist (correct usage) is someone who believes the state (a.k.a. “government”) is an illegitimate (criminal) organization whose operating principles are the use of aggressive violence to force others to comply with the ruler’s edicts and the right steal property to do it. IOW, might makes right. Anarchists believe that no one has a right to damage or take another’s property against its owner’s will; it’s called the Non-Aggression Principle. Does that look like the masked morons throwing trash cans through store windows?

I recorded a “wild feed” off satellite years ago, which was an interview setup with Mr. Barkley and it was live to the sat. Mr. Barkley was joined by Mr. Lambeer who was just passing by but promptly tore into him for losing money on the bet. This was postgame at the final playoff game if memory serves. When he realized what he said had just gone out on satellite, he freaked out. It’s funny as hell. Plus Barkley was wise to the exposure and was trying to backpedal anything the out of control Lambeer was admitting to on live teevee.
