The Camp of the Saints

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The liberal/progressives, lost as they are in their emotionalism, do not realize that their rantings about white supremacists are also discrediting themselves and not merely their foes. The rest of the world doesn’t differentiate between good whites and bad whites. As one reader who wrote to me from India said, “All whites are guilty.” That is the position of the left who assert that White Supremacy is institutionalized in the United States and has been from day one. The white liberal/progressives should read Jean Raspail’s book, The Camp of the Saints and discover that the world does not differentiate them from white nationalists. Whites—not “some whites”—are seen as a plague on the world.

If a book is too much for them, they can read Ajamu Baraka in Counterpunch:

“What is the character of racist right-wing politics today? Is it the crazed white supremacist who plows into an anti-fascist demonstration in Charlottesville, VA or can it also be the assurance by Lindsay Graham that an attack against North Korea would result in thousands of lives lost…. but those lives will be ‘over there’? What about the recent unanimous resolution by both houses of Congress in support of Israel and criticism of the United Nations for its alleged anti-Israeli bias? Would that qualify as racist and right-wing, since it appears that the ongoing suffering of the Palestinians is of no concern? And what about the vote by the U.S. House of Representatives to go even beyond the obscene proposal of the Trump administration to increase the military budget by $54 billion dollars and instead add a whopping $74 billion to the Pentagon budget?

“What I find interesting about the current discussion around what many are referring to as the emboldening of the radical white supremacist right is how easy it is to mobilize opposition against the crude and overt white supremacists we saw in Charlottesville. So easy, in fact, that it’s really a distraction from the more difficult and dangerous work that needs to be done to confront the real right-wing power brokers.

“The white supremacy that some of us see as more insidious is not reflected in the simple, stereotypical images of the angry, Nazi-saluting alt-righter or even Donald Trump. Instead, it is the normalized and thus invisible white supremacist ideology inculcated into cultural and educational institutions and the policies that stem from those ideas. That process doesn’t just produce the storm troopers of the armed and crazed radical right but also such covert true believers as Robert Ruben from Goldman Sachs, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Tony Blair and Nancy Pelosi – ‘decent’ individuals who have never questioned for a moment the superiority of Western civilization, who believe completely in the White West’s right and responsibility to determine which nations should have sovereignty and who should be the leaders of ‘lesser’ nations. And who believe that there is no alternative to the wonders of global capitalism even if it means that billions of human beings are consigned permanently to what Fanon called the ‘zone of non-being.’

“This is the white supremacy that I am concerned with. And while I recognize the danger of the violent right-wing movement, I am more concerned with the right-wing policies that are being enacted into law and policy by both Democrats and Republicans at every level of government.

. . .

“The structures of white power, that is the structures and institutions that provide the material base for Euro-American white supremacy and its ideological reproduction, should be the focus of radical opposition. But the capitalist order and its institutions – the World Trade Organization, IMF, World Bank, and global Westernized higher education that serves as the material basis for hegemonic white supremacist power – escape critical scrutiny because popular attention is directed against a David Duke and a Donald Trump.

“Trump and the alt-right have become useful diversions for white supremacist liberals and leftists who would rather fight against those superficial caricatures of racism than engage in more difficult ideological work involving real self-sacrifice – purging themselves of all racial sentimentality associated with the mythology of the place of white people, white civilization and whiteness in the world in order to pursue a course for justice that will result in the loss of white material privilege.

“Looking at white supremacy from this wider-angle lens, it is clear that support for the Israeli state, war on North Korea, mass black and brown incarceration, a grotesque military budget, urban gentrification, the subversion of Venezuela, the state war on black and brown people of all genders, and the war on reproductive rights are among the many manifestations of an entrenched right-wing ideology that cannot be conveniently and opportunistically reduced to Trump and the Republicans.

“And when we understand that white supremacy is not just what is in someone’s head but is also a global structure with ongoing, devastating impacts on the people of the world, we will understand better why some of us have said that in order for the world to live, the 525-year-old white supremacist Pan-European, colonial/capitalist patriarchy must die.”

Here you can read the entire article:

The function of the left is to sharpen the issues.

The function of the liberal/progressives is to see the sharp issues and soften them with reforms, not shout blanket hate-filled denunciations of others.

The liberal/progressives are clearly failing in their duty. All whites will pay the price of their failure.

Yes, apparently PCR can’t distinguish between the FBI plants masquerading as (leftist) Nazis, and the rest of the demonstrators who want to save the Constitution and the USA. Seriously moronic column…..Wonder where PCR and his much younger wife are going to flee? Have they bought an island yet?

Great novel.

“The world is controlled, so it seems, not by a single specific conductor, but by a new apocalyptic beast, a kind of anonymous, omnipresent monster, and one that, in some primordial time, must have vowed to destroy the Western World. The beast has no set plan. It seizes whatever occasions arise. The crowd massed along the Ganges was merely the latest, and doubtless the one with the richest potential. Divine in origin, this beast? Or infernal, more likely? Be that as it may, the phenomenon, hard to believe, is a good two centuries old. Dostoevski analyzed it once upon a time. And Péguy too, though in different form, when he railed against the “intellectual clique.” And even one of our former popes, Paul VI, toward the end of his reign, as he opened his eyes and discerned, at long last, the work of the Devil … Nothing can stop the beast. That much we all know. Which is probably why the chosen few have such faith that their ideas will triumph, and why the ones who persist in the struggle know only too well how futile it is …”.

whites have obviously conquered history thus far. and i think they have been relatively judicious, as privileged ones go. of course they worked hard for that privilege, building nations with technology and knowledge expansion -wonders abound. now others want that privilege, but see it as a zero-sum-game where it first must be taken from someone else.

recent examples in Zimbabwe, South Africa, now emerging in Europe and USA, reveal that ceding privilege to blacks and muslims at least, would lead to a dire future for white walkers. now is not the time to weaken our resolve because of social engineering, advertising, educational indoctrination and totalitarian movements. because when the privilege takers defeat the privilege makers, civilization crumbles.

It will not end well for caucasians in former “white” countries. Just look at the current genocide in South Africa, or the abuse of the younger, German school kids…and lest we forget- when the French turned over the full control in Haiti to the black majority, the black leaders in 1804 ordered the genocide of all remaining non-blacks in Hispaniola.
Lessons you never hear in school. In the future we will see this repeated in Europe as the native populations become the minorities–and yes, eventually it will reach the USA.

The theme of Global Cultural Communism has long been to demonize and destroy Whites and Western society. Back to you; I don’t want to help those Blacks that want me dead and I don’t want to help those foreigners that want me dead. Don’t provide Welfare to individuals of either group.

I am going to “paint with a broad brush” here, because of my many years on this “mortal coil” and my personal experiences with foreigners who emigrate to the United States.
I have noticed that approximately 80% are “here only for the money” and could give a damn about our Constitutional principles or society. In fact, many of them bring their deficiencies from their countries of origin with them and attempt to impose them on us true Americans. A good example of this is their unwavering support for the democrat party and “gun control (confiscation)”. Even the First Amendment is “too much” for some of them…they advocate restrictions on Constitutionally-protected speech…
When I hear foreigners brag about “how good life is in their home countries” while denigrating the United States, I ask them one question: “If life was so good in your home country, why did you come here?” The silence from them is deafening

Thanks be to Christ, someone besides me finally understands it. The world will not be satisfied until every last white person on the planet is dead. The Bible calls it, “The time of Jacob’s trouble.” thanks

I’ll repeat what I have said previously:

The Left, and the cucks, has spent the past week proving that everything the Alt-Right says about them is true.

The most interesting thing was Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and others with similar backgrounds, coming out hard against free speech. That was a surprise to many people – but it does confirm what the Alt-Right has been saying: that the ‘magic dirt’ theory is a fantasy with no basis in reality.

“Here’s my chant: niggers and whiggers go home!”

Hello El Coyote. Your stance on African Americans is compelling, and we really like your thoughts regarding the travesty and degeneracy of the whites trying to emulate ghetto culture. We would like to invite you to be a featured writer.

We understand that outside of havens of free speech many will not understand the nuance and subtlety of your message, but we understand the importance of defending inflammatory speech.

Here, have a thumbs up.
Let us know, thanks!

I know it’s easier for you to just focus all your frustrations on one person, but I’m not Yobo.

That said… sarcasm and irony are our bread and butter. It’s what gets us in trouble so much, people taking the usage of certain symbols and ideas so literally that it unhinges them.

We’ve observed a lot of your writing here and feel that you *too* understand using inflammatory statements in order to make a point, one that many people in polite company would shout us down for making. You seem to understand this too.

Let us know, thanks.

YoBo is a symbol, I certainly do not hate him or wish him and his family anything bad.
As for trying to recruit me to write shit for you. I won’t even write for Maggie. I write what appeals to me at the moment and, a bit like Stucky, I change my opinion as my attitude changes: I hate niggers, I love niggers. I hate queers, I love queers. I hate bitches, I love bitches.

I read that Daily Stormer is off again. Poor YoBo must be suffering withdrawal right about now.

We never said you hated anyone. Why would you immediately jump to such a topic? We stated the exact opposite about you, actually.

We understand entirely how you can write something that to the normal person, including your own grandmother or grandchild, would appear to be hateful but is meant on multiple levels. Especially if your aim is to make a broader point. This is why we don’t take any of your comments literally.

If we did, we would be very concerned about you, as well as a non-trivial number of posters here at TBP who speak in ways that their targets would easily interpret as a desire to inflict violence on them. Since you associate with these people, we trust that you feel a certain degree of responsibility for their actions and have made every effort to ensure they will not actually act on any of these statements… they are just rhetorical statements meant to emphasize a point.

We’ve made no claims as to your other activities online… only remarked as to the significant impact your comprehensive contribution to the nature and flavor of the TBP community has had on us.

You have a long history of easily searchable posts that cover a broad spectrum of ideas… ideas that we’ve put the due diligence in to understand their context rather than emotionally react too quickly. We like you even when we disagree with you.

We are SemiDailyStorms, not Daily Stormer. We are a softer gentler approach to the difficult questions of our time. However we are sympathetic to websites with featured front page authors suggesting throwing people with certain traits into volcanoes in order to deal with a scientific problem…

NASA Unveils Plan To Stop Yellowstone “Supervolcano” Eruption, There’s Just One Catch

We understand how this sort of comment is intended to be read, but many who showed up in Boston yesterday do not. We stand with you and your community though, that you should not be demonized or shut down for it.

As for DailyStormer, their survival itself is irrelevant except as a measure of those reacting to them. Barbra Streisand’s Mansion is a very poor method of defeating ideas. In the shifting sands of understanding they are a minor sandbar who was intentionally putting a target on their head to make a point.

Pangloss is an interesting one. He had a lot to say.

People should read “Camp of The Saints”. It was ever bit as prescient as “1984” or “Brave New World” perhaps even more. If you read it, you will look at the immigration issue in Europe in a totally different way.

Read “Camp of the Saints” long ago, then again. Only just begun, folks. The coming collapse of the world economy will of course be played out in multiples in Africa. Wait until THEY, and already doing it, start hoarding in by the millions to Italy, Spain, France. Mr. Raspail, as I have read it, was nothing close to a wacky racist. But can you imagine, only 44 years ago he predicted like a crystal ball what is happening, and the big part not even here yet? But go to your fave “social media” place and he’s a vile race hater, cruel bigot etc. Best part in the book is what happens to two of the main protagonists, after it goes down. The two who used major public influence to empower their own horrible destruction. Coming soon, Infidel.
