Indeed, greed is an ever-present reality of the human condition. ALL THE MORE REASON to keep government power to the absolute minimum (if allowed at all), because without government power, greed can ONLY be truly exploited through the voluntary exchange with others – a self-limiting factor that is NEVER possible when government rears its ugly head on behalf of the greedy.
