I don’t agree with liberals often, because I’m not an idiot and because I love America, but when they once again say, “We must have a conversation about guns!” I still couldn’t agree more. And, since all we’ve heard is you leftists shrieking at us all week, I’ll start it off.
You don’t ever get to disarm us. Not ever.
There. It sure feels good to engage in a constructive dialogue.

Now, we should have this conversation because in recent years we’ve seen a remarkable antipathy for the fact that normal Americans even have rights among those on the left. We should have this conversation to clear the air before leftists push too far and the air gets filled with smoke. But we really don’t need to have a conversation about our rights to keep and bear arms. They’re rights. There’s nothing to talk about.
This goes for all our rights that the left hates, like the rights to speak and write freely, to practice our religion as we see fit, and to not be railroaded by liberal authority without due process. Leftists hate our rights because they hate us, and when we assert our rights it gets in the way of their malicious schemes to dominate and control us. It makes them stamp their little sandaled feet in rage when we normals just won’t cooperate and surrender our rights. But we love our rights – rights are wonderful things with which we were endowed by our Creator, and which our beloved Constitution merely reiterates. But the left, including its pet media, thinks that our rights were merely iterated, and that the left can take an eraser to the parchment and – voila! – no more pesky rights for you flyover people.
And due process? Well, you must love rape if you think that a young man accused of it should be informed of the charges against him, allowed to cross-examine the witnesses, and have an impartial judge. Do you phallocentric male-identifying men and others have any idea how much harder it is to railroad some guy in the name of smashing the patriarchy when you actually have to prove your case with evidence? Like any woman would ever make up a rape allegation out of whole cloth! A fair trial? That’s something right out of The Handmaid’s Tale!
And don’t get me started on the hate crime of hatred that is misgendering. Why, calling a man a “man” when xe got up this morning and decided xe was a non-binary, femme-leaning, twin-spirit otherkin is pretty much just what Hitler did.
So, let’s continue our important conversation. How about this? How about we continue to speak freely, saying whatever we want however we want, and you leftists just sit there and be offended? How about we practice our faiths however we want, even if that means some of us don’t end up validating every one of your preferred personal peccadillos (I checked under all of the penumbras and emanations in the Constitution and I can’t find anywhere that you have a right to have us high-five everything you do). And how about we insist that everyone accused of something gets due process and the chance to defend himself – or herself, or even xirself?
Yeah, we know that us having rights is inconvenient, but that’s too damn bad. Because we aren’t asking you for our rights. We’re telling you we aren’t giving them up.
See, we’re done walking on eggshells and playing your verbal minefield game. You’ll call us “murderers,” “racists,” “sexists,” “homophobes” and every other kind of “phobe” you can invent no matter what we do anyway, and it’s all a lie. It’s also all meaningless. You don’t even believe it. It’s just a rhetorical weapon, and a lame one, but you’ve fired all your ammo. The chamber is empty. Keep pulling the trigger on your slanders, but we’re now woke to the scam and you’re just shooting blanks.
Anyway, let’s continue our conversation. You’re not going to pin the rampage of some scumbag on millions and millions of people who didn’t do it. You’re not going to leverage this spree into disarming us – which is your ultimate goal. We know how you hate the idea that we are armed and independent, that we hold a lead veto over your fever dreams of tyrannical rule over us. You know how important it is to us to be free citizens; you yearn to humiliate us by stripping us of our self-respect by taking away our means of keeping ourselves free from the tyranny of people like you.
You never cared that 59 people were murdered – some of you, as we have seen, cheered – and I gotta say, it’s a bad look to screech “I’m glad you crackers are dead, now heed my command to give up your guns!” If you really cared about 59 people being murdered, you’d demand that the Chicago PD flood the ghetto and stop and frisk until every punk with a gun was disarmed because 59 people get murdered there in a slow month. Oh, but wait – their rights! Gee, I thought that RIGHTS DON’T MATTER IF TAKING RIGHTS AWAY SAVES JUST ONE LIFE… I guess it’s really about whose rights, isn’t it?
Let’s not even mention abortion. Jimmy Kimmel’s head might explode because he’s all about the kids not getting killed, except only after they’re born. He and you liberals seem cool with killing them before then.
So, let’s finish our conversation about guns. Where was I? Oh yeah. No.
No to your fake “solutions” that have nothing to do with this guy’s rampage.
No to your bogus “care” and “concern” that arises only when it involves stripping normal Americans of our sacred natural rights.

Each and every year more than half of those who die are white, while less than half of the annual “new voting stock” is of the leftist persuasion. Every true American supports the 2nd amendment no question . That leaves an enourmous group of anti 2nd amendment hard at Work undermining everything you think you possess ! If a government ruling comes down to confiscate it will be done like a their in the night ! You will be at work or on vacation and you will come home with a note on the door from some court appointed Office and your shit every bullet every gun he’ll even your sling shot will be gone . Those that are Home and resist will experience a “HARD TAKEDOWN” you will eventually lose and be lead away in hand cuffs or a body bag !
I doubt there are enough policemen brave enough to undertake that task. I suspect a lot of popo would die trying to confiscate arms from the population. That is nothing but an observation, not an advocation. Many gun owners will go down the molon labe track, I suspect.
Many policemen own a bunch of those guns, personally, as well. They aren’t going to write in an exemption that cops get to keep their personal banned guns, so they’d either be turning them in, or getting the proverbial knocks on their doors, too. Plus, as you said, they are going to lose people doing this. There are about 150 million gun owners, a conservative guess, in this country. Im sure the number is actually higher. But, probably a tenth of that is the ‘hard core’ type that swears up and down they will never turn theirs in. Thats 15 million people, most of which are probably completely full of shit, and despite their claims, they will still turn over their weapons. But, a tenth of them REALLY meaning it is 1.5 million people. A tenth of THAT is still 150,000 people. Thats a lot of pissed off people that will shoot at those who come to disarm them. Before too long, its going to get REALLY hard to keep people on the job. Kicking down doors of normal, law abiding people and either kill them or be killed by them isn’t something most cops sign on for. Im not advocating this, of course, but I find it ironic that the people who want this claim it will ‘put an end to the violence’ when in reality it will be elevating it to a whole new level.

If the Left cared about lives, the would be screaming about all the things that kill more people every year than guns. Medical malpractice, for instance. Never a peep out of them about anything else. The Left won’t acknowledge medical malpractice, because then they would be forced to look at why there is a problem there – which would lead to looking at affirmative action and racial quotas for medical schools, which result in stupid, incompetent people becoming doctors and nurses.
Nothing fills the Left with more rage than the idea that someone, somewhere, isn’t being oppressed by them.
A good place to start with gun control, is: Why is the government enacting and enforcing laws claiming to regulate that which the government is specifically denied to power to regulate.

Shall not be infringed – not ‘shall not be infringed, unless you feel like infringing – then it’s totally cool to ignore this.’
Gun control laws exist for the sole purpose of infringing on the right of the People to keep and bear arms. They are all, prima facie, unconstitutional – and have no legitimate force of law – and yet, these unconstitutional laws are enforced. These unconstitutional laws are enforced by violent men with guns, and judges with power, all of whom have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution they are ignoring. These people have conspired to subvert the Constitution, and are actively doing so, right now. They are subversives and traitors. Every last one of them.
If the government is ignoring the foundational document of the government, why should anyone obey any of their laws at all, for any reason beyond the government’s ability to use force to impose those illegitimate laws upon us?

Fuck Liberals Progressives ,I guess we will have to take there creature comforts ( electricity , clean water ,food at Walmart , medicine , fuel for their cars ) away if they try to take our Rights away .I have been reading what some veterans have been saying ( on other sites ) about how easy it would be to take down places like New York city or Los Angeles .
If you haven’t been paying close enough attention, conservatives and the GOP are not exactly defenders of our rights EITHER. It may be to a lesser degree, but please don’t let them off the hook. We didn’t get this far down this horrible road ONLY because of the actions/votes, etc. of so-called “liberals.” FREEDOM is simply NOT a popular thing among those who are either employed by or profit from, the existence of government itself. Government is the OPPOSITE of freedom and liberty.
One of the most common characteristics of the “Progressive” mindset is an absolute failure to take responsibility for their own personal decisions and actions. Don’t let them do that.
If someone tells you that they support laws to take away your right to be armed for your own defense, calmly tell them, “When the government decides to take my arms I will not submit — and I will remember that YOU are the person who sent them to attack me.” Let them know that they WILL be held accountable for their actions.
Down here in Houston-land, in the aftermath of Harvey, we have a very promising development. The Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with local govt. entities, built dams (sometimes called levees) to control torrential rains and flood waters as an alternative to unrestrained flooding of downtown Houston, the Texas Medical Center, the Houston Ship Channel, etc. Over time, the low-lying areas, which the Corps of Engineers called ‘flood pools’, were allowed to be developed as public parks and other common areas.
Crucially, information about the scope and extent of these ‘flood pools’ had never become widely public knowledge — until Harvey made it plain to see. What happened, given Houston’s disdain for zoning, is that development encroached on these dams, and the low-lying areas stayed dry for the most part. Until Harvey, water collected in the usually dry areas behind the dams, and flooding was mitigated somewhat — until Harvey. Entire residential developments, with thousands of homes, were built on land designated as part of these ‘flood pools’. This was never disclosed to the homebuyers.
Harvey overwhelmed the system. It came to light that only two of the originally-planned three ‘reserviors’ had actually been created. In the midst of this unprecedented storm, unrestrained flooding was imminent. So, the Corps of Engineers, at 2:30 in the morning, giving notice only via a press release that nobody read until hours later, released water from the two dams — and flooded many housing developments that had never flooded before. This was done ‘to save the City of Houston’.
The promising development is that a large group of homeowners has banded together to sue the Army Corps of Engineers for perpetrating a ‘taking’ of their property without (so far) just compensation. Ladies and gentlemen, we finally have a litmus test for the takings clause of the fifth amendment that may not be stopped. What an effective brake on government over-reach this could turn out to be! I am cautiously optimistic! Imagine the govt. being forced by the Supremes to pay for what it takes from its citizens!
