QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Woe to the shepherds, who have been feeding only themselves. You eat the fat, you take the wool, and you slaughter the fattest animal, but you do not feed the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bandaged the injured or brought back the strays or looked for the lost; rather, you have ruled them with harshness and tyranny. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; they were scattered and became prey for every wild beast of the field.”

Ezekiel 34:1-5

Ha. This very passage was the topic at church last weekend. I won absolutely no friends when I pointed out that ‘beast of the field’ refers to non – Adamic ‘humans’, just as some would refer to black people as farm equipment.
If the passage was referring to wild beasts that’s what we would read.

Amen. Describes most pastors, ministry leaders, in the Evangelical Church today. Really sad.
