Guest Post by Caitlin Johnstone

Once a little boy told his mum that he reckoned there shouldn’t be any more wars, and that people ought to take care of each other and make sure everyone gets enough to eat. She smiled, patted his head and told him he was a sweet child.

The boy stopped sharing his idea as he got older, because it made bigger kids scoff and ridicule him. He learned about economics and foreign policy, and how war is often necessary to stop bad guys from doing bad things. He took on this new understanding so that he wouldn’t be made fun of anymore. Sometimes as a grown-up he’d think back on the juvenile thoughts he used to share with his mum, and he’d chuckle at how innocent and naive he was.

Then the boy got even older, and he learned that that perspective was naive as well. Actually it’s all a pack of lies, he discovered, and the politicians and pundits are deceiving everyone about what’s going on in the world for the benefit of a few wealthy ecocidal warmongers. He came to understand that everything is fake and everyone is corrupt, and he spent his remaining days scoffing at people and smugly knowing better than those who believed what the TV told them.

On his deathbed his mind did strange things as his body failed. One day, after spending an entire weekend in a non-responsive state, the boy sat bolt upright and startled his children and grandchildren who were gathered at his bedside, screaming, “Fuck! I got it right the first time!”

We are inseparable from the world we live in. This is self-evident in the breathing of air, the eating of food and the drinking of water. Ninety percent of the cells in the human body are bacteria, upon whose ecosystems the health of the entire physiological system depends. Science tells us that what we take to be separate objects are actually relatively loose clusters of tiny moving particles with no clearly defined boundary line, and when you reduce those particles to their smallest possible components it becomes difficult to say exactly what they even are or to what extent they even exist. The cells in our own bodies are constantly being replaced with proteins, minerals and other nutrients we extract from other organisms, to such an extent that it’s difficult to claim with any authority that you’re the same creature that came out of your mother’s womb.

And yet we think of ourselves as separate. We think if we destroy the planet we live on, if we destroy the ecosystemic context in which we evolved and into which we are inseparably woven, it’s no big deal because we can just become a space-faring species like in science fiction books. This despite the fact that our only ventures into space thus far have been glorified scuba diving excursions, with all resources imported from a planet with a fully functioning ecosystem. The difference between living in space independently of Planet Earth and visiting space with imported supplies is the difference between flying and jumping. We only think we’re remotely close to the former because we erroneously view ourselves as separate from the ecosystemic context which birthed us.

A human being is a swirling eddy in a flowing stream, with a mental soundtrack playing in the background saying “This stream and I, we are separate things.” Mental noises are imbued with the power of belief which describe a separate self in a separable world, despite the complete absence of any such thing that can be observed by science or by direct experience.

In direct experience there are thoughts, there are feelings and there are sensory impressions, but in none of them can a hard, tangible thing be found that can be accurately labeled “me”, no matter how hard you look. The closest you can get is to tell a story about a particular person with a particular name and a particular history, who inhabits a particular body, and then labeling that cluster of stories “me”. But that’s all they are. They’re stories.

Mental story is the only realm in which separation exists. It’s the only realm in which it makes sense to give all the stuff to Joe because Joe figured out how to make a talking dongle widget that works a bit faster than the other ones. It’s the only realm in which it makes sense to drop explosives on a group of human organisms because they are standing on the wrong clump of dirt. Without narratives about separate organisms who need to protect their interests from other separate organisms, fear and greed lose their foothold, and thus can’t be used to manipulate people toward certain agendas. The only thing that makes sense is peace and harmony.

This is what human awakening looks like. And, in my opinion, it is where we are headed. The simple, obvious truth you saw as a child was reality. You had it right the first time.

Human history is human nature.

And Human nature always prevails no matter the current circumstances and conditions.

Of course, however, human nature evolves just as our mind and bodies evolve. While we cannot say where the next step is, we can be assured that no matter current perception, evolution improves us in the long run, in mind, body AND spirit.

Really, Mark? Is that why we evolved Homo sapiens are doing so well currently? Are you measuring the progress by the number of neat toys we have?

Then there are the crooked , devious, evil people who believe they are superior and must lord it over the rest of us. Stop them and we could all live in the manner we wanted as honest children. Does it take a war or is there a better way?

Fucking Newage gobbly gook. The reality is that YOU do need to protect YOUR interests from OTHER organisms, otherwise the OTHER organisms will take the things you have worked for and rape and/or kill your kin. Look at human history. Look at your fellow humans. Collapse civilization even just a little bit and watch the dangerous apes reveal themselves. Fucking look at the natural world, it’s just one big resturant and everyone is on the menu.

Hey Caitlin!
“In direct experience there are thoughts, there are feelings and there are sensory impressions, but in none of them can a hard, tangible thing be found that can be accurately labeled “me”, no matter how hard you look. ”

Sounds like you are trending toward (old school) Theravada Buddhism. Where does a flame go when you blow out a candle? Nowhere. There was never a “flame” by itself. “Flame” was only a word for a temporary assemblage of things, a grouping of heat, light, and oxidation. Remove those and the “flame” ceases to exist. Where does the “me” go when you remove thoughts, feelings, sensations?

If Caitlin would allow her boy to live a few more years, she would likely find that he had changed his mind again. What the boy thinks at any given time matters not at all, and simply because he is about to die does not mean he has a meaningful revelation. Human notions of self importance are no more meaningful than the proverbial yeast in the vat of grape juice; we do not really matter to anyone or anything except ourselves. The only path to personal freedom from the tyranny of responsibility for the future of mankind is to arrive at the certainty that you just do not matter; not you, not your family or friends, not your country, not this insignificant rock in our insignificant solar system.

But check back with me tomorrow; I may have changed my mind…….

The Deceiver wants all Christians to think Earth is actually Heaven. Yes we want to and try to love all enemies. We love the Lord and follow Him but we would be insane to always take those verses literally, there would be no live Christians left. All our children would become their slaves. Peddle that kool aid to Muslims and other Barbarians. 2Cor5:15

2 Corinthians chapter 5 is likely my personal favorite chapter in the Bible. And this statement is excellent, you write… “We love the Lord and follow Him but we would be insane to always take those verses literally, there would be no live Christians left.”

The reason you would be insane (and blind, without hands, defenseless, utterly broke having sold everything, etc…) to follow the red letters literally, is because Jesus was not speaking to you in them. He was speaking “literally” to the nation Israel. And the few who believed Him did take His instructions literally. They were also empowered in ways with which to cope with those seemingly “insane” instructions; ways in which we today are not.

Christ gave our instructions to the Apostle He sent to us, Paul.

Romans 15:8… “Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:”

Romans 15:16… “That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.”

The Lord Himself makes this most misunderstood Bible truth (Jesus wasn’t talking to you) very clearly in:

Matthew 15:24… “But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

The deceiver wants you to be confused by your Bible; that it is not to be taken literally. He does not want you to know who Paul is. He wants you to believe that the “red” letters are instructions for you, so that you can’t possibly “follow” Jesus literally (causing great confusion in those who wish to), that the verses must be somehow “spiritualized” or made relative. He has mostly succeeded. Not only can you NOT follow Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you’re NOT supposed to. Paul writes:

1 Cor 11:1… “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

1 Tim 1:16… “Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should HEREAFTER believe on him to life everlasting.”

Rom 11:13… “For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:”

Paul never magnifies himself, but the office (the dispensation of grace) the risen and glorified Lord Christ gave to him. The Bible is actually very easy to understand when once one understands how to read (rightly divide) it. Every verse makes perfect sense if we keep in mind who is speaking and to whom.

I appreciate your stand for the Lord and would like to show you more. I know what I say is uncommon. grace country bible church at yahoo dot com should you feel inclined to explore further.

I’m glad there is one Preacher with a functioning brain. I love Jesus who God has given all authority on Earth. The New Testament is the greatest book and the Bible is the 2nd greatest book but I’m a Heretic because I believe the OT is mostly a box of rocks with some gems and the NT is a box of gems with some rocks. I found your site and will look for some gems.

“I found your site and will look for some gems.”

I do hope you find some. That publishers division, the one page which separates the “old testament” section of the Bible from the “new testament” section of the Bible is a man-made construct. It is not inspired scripture. The book of Hebrews substantiates where and when the new testament begins and the old leaves off. Speaking of Christ the Author writes:

Hebrews 9:15-17… “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

By the authority of these verses we can see that the “new testament” does not begin in Matthew chapter 1 as all printed Bibles indicate, but at Christs death instead. Interesting, no? The Bible to me is one giant, all encompassing gem!

War is a necessary component of survival. “Peace” is a delusion. There are wars constantly. Even in your yard, tiny creatures like ants attack and fight each other endlessly. Its called “Living Space”. Its not necessarily to take it from others, but simply to KEEP IT for yourselves. Geography is a Zero Sum Game.
The Wars of the past that failed were Wars for a hate filled Anti-White parasite. Hitler, Saddam and even the Vietnamese were NO THREAT TO YOU. We went to The Nam for Heroin. The Golden Triangle. We are in Afghanistan for THE SAME REASON. The Gulf of Tonkin incident was a FALSE FLAG to eat up over 50,000 White Men and damage others and get them ADDICTED TO POISON. THEY REALLY HATE YOU WHITE MAN. The Devil’s Children. By hook or by crook they will kill you and rape your women with dumb browns. They are a delusional mongrel who have a Babylonian Book of Lies promising them a World of Slaves.

Fight for YOURSELVES. ENLIGHTENED SELF INTEREST. NO ONE WOULD HELP YOU. DO NOT FEED LOCUSTS AND ENEMIES. IT WILL BE A TERMINAL ERROR FOR YOUR RACE.

Any secular humanist approach is bound to fail. You see, besides the material aspect to our beings, there is a immaterial (non-physical) part as well. A non-physical mind interacts through, but it separate from, a brain. God created us with this dualism a central part of our design. Yes, upon death there is a temporary loss of a physical part, but ultimately that will be restored as well.

Values, beliefs, morals, desires, and the like occupy the immaterial realm. A world that denies the immaterial Being who created us has no grounds to expect anything to exist outside this physical realm. It is only “molecules in motion” which can never answer the question ‘why’ or ‘why not’ other than a strict physical determinism (for example, a complex array of dominoes which will repeatably fall the same way). And so all of the “evil” that is complained of by materialist atheists is NOTHING MORE than preference. So they change their preference and seek to kill and steal from those whom they choose. And in an atheistic world, you cannot even say that is WRONG!

But God took on physical form 2000 yrs ago. Historical documentation is robust, and NO ONE who has really examined the evidence denies the reality that Jesus of Nazareth walked the earth (even atheist scholars acknowledge Jesus lived). He came to offer us a way out, redemption from our broken nature.

What every child grows up watching is this drama unfold, and seeks to make sense of it and discern his own place in it. The battle lines are drawn, and the war is heating up. Although every generation has seen evidences suggesting that the return is near, given the global state of debt, chaos, war, Islam, debauchery and utter denial of reality (“Hi, I have decided I am a girl named Kaitlyn, do you like my gold medal?”) it seems that we truly are close.
