Failures of Justice and Mercy

 Mollie Tibbetts

It is often said that those going to court to sue want justice, and those defending themselves want mercy. There is ample recent evidence that both can be failures, according to the results observed. I will elaborate on several notable cases, old and new.

The spate of murders attributed to illegal aliens in America is a disturbing demonstration of how failures to deport those here illegally and keep them out leads to worse crimes later. We are paying the price now for failures of the Obama administration and earlier ones to secure our borders. The “refugee industry”, NGOs and church organizations who profit from resettling aliens among us, want MORE murders in the future, something to keep in mind when contributing funds to charities that hate you. Illegal voting by illegal aliens is also a problem, and may already have resulted in stolen elections.

Were illegal aliens unable to find and keep employment here they would not come or stay; were they deported upon detection, fewer would remain among us. If illegal aliens were absent, Tibbets, Steinle and many others would still be living good, useful lives.

Leaving aside Republican politics and foreign policy, it is known that a missile left John McCain’s fighter plane and started a fire on board the USS Forrestal, an air craft carrier during the Vietnam War. The fire killed 134 sailors; destroyed several planes and damaged a warship during time of war. This should have resulted in a dishonorable discharge for McCain; sources vary on whether the board of review was influenced by McCain’s father, serving as an Admiral in the Navy at the time; or simply being merciful to the incompetent pilot.

Either way, 134 casualties did not result in McCain’s discharge from the Navy. Being shot down and tortured as a POW in Vietnam, McCain broke and made propaganda broadcasts for the Viet Cong. Somehow, upon his return from North Vietnam McCain managed to run for Senator from Arizona and be elected (and re-elected).

He was involved in the “Keating Five” Savings and Loan scandal, taking bribes to influence the regulators to relax or ignore the regulations. Despite film evidence of McCain accepting bribes, no indictment was pursued and he was allowed to retain office. His career then became an endless loop of bad legislation (including giving citizenship to illegal aliens), bad foreign policy (which he had no authority to become involved in), and bad influence (including having his chief of staff persuade a mindless Lois Lerner to audit conservative 503c groups until they gave up trying for tax-exempt status).

McCain got mercy, not once but at least three times; it did not result in a humbled, ethical man serving his country but in a vain, arrogant man punishing his fellows for their forgiveness. Mercy should not be granted unless real, honest contrition for the offenses is demonstrated. If you allow an arrogant man to escape punishment, more crimes and offenses are the result. Had McCain been relieved of duty in shame the first time, many subsequent errors would not have afflicted the nation.

The many crimes of Bill and Hillary Clinton are well documented (check out the second link). Here I want to focus on two items, Hillary’s attempt to deny Richard Nixon counsel (based on a contrived, weak argument) during the Watergate impeachment trial, and Bill doing rape and drugs during his stretch as Governor of Arkansas.

Had Hillary been indicted and convicted of malfeasance (or whatever term applies to attorneys deliberately misbehaving with legal consequences for their victims) and Bill for rape and illegal drug usage and removed from office, we as a nation would have been spared much sorrow, including:

Whitewater (bad land deal in Arkansas)

Escalante Grand Staircase payoff to Riady family

Numerous victims (Ron Brown, Vince Foster, others)

Rose Law Firm scandals and cover-ups

Loral missile technology sale to China

Foreign campaign finance irregularities and scandals

Energy loans, deals, payoff scandals

“Clipper chip” & telecom scandals

Everything Hillary did as Sec of State

Organized crime connections, payoffs, drug running

It is difficult to comprehensively list all the pain caused by the Clintons, as some are still under investigation (CGI, CF, various side deals selling influence) but almost all of them could have been avoided if their careers in “public service” had ended in Arkansas, near their beginning. One of the few benefits from their time there is that Arkansas has voted Republican ever since they left it.

The lesson I hope we learn from all this is that evil, unredressed and unpunished, begets more evil as time passes. You can be merciful; if someone commits a crime, learns from it and makes restitution, then avoids any further evil then mercy has been a success. Otherwise, if a vain and proud heart leads them further into dark actions, your mercy has been misguided and misspent.

We must as a nation understand what happens when mercy overrides justice, and stop coddling the evil because WE want to be seen as merciful and kind. Those who suffer from our misjudgement are not those who go on to cause problems.

John McStain said he didn’t like religious extremist like Louis Farrakhan or Jerry Falwell. If Jerry Falwell is a religious extremist, then John McStain would have an even bigger problem getting along with any of the Disciples much less Jesus Christ.

Lately I have wondered how it is that Trump seems a bit slow on the trigger with sevearl issues. Recently however I began to think what I thought was slowness should be viewed as deliberate. Everybody says he can’t do this and in a while – not news media quick what he pursued comes to pass. I so hope that pertains to the clinoton clan to include holder pelosi and shcumer. All capitals reserved for worthy entities. Far better to grind this mess to be ground as grist and ultimately end with her and willie going to prison. Here’s to our man Trump. God speed.
