If this latest revelation from the New York Times doesn’t drive President Trump to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, then we can’t imagine what would.
In a shocking report citing a bevy of anonymous DOJ officials, the NYT recounted on Friday an aborted mutiny attempt organized by Rosenstein, who allegedly tried to organize members of Trump’s cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment to oust Trump from office. In an attempt to persuade the clearly reluctant members of Trump’s cabinet, Rosenstein suggested that he had taped Trump “to expose the chaos” he said was engulfing the West Wing.
Mr. Rosenstein made the remarks about secretly recording Mr. Trump and about the 25th Amendment in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. The people were briefed either on the events themselves or on memos written by F.B.I. officials, including Andrew G. McCabe, then the acting bureau director, that documented Mr. Rosenstein’s actions and comments.
None of Mr. Rosenstein’s proposals apparently came to fruition. It is not clear how determined he was about seeing them through, though he did tell Mr. McCabe that he might be able to persuade Attorney General Jeff Sessions and John F. Kelly, then the secretary of homeland security and now the White House chief of staff, to mount an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment.
According to the NYT, this all happened during the spring of 2017, shortly after Trump cited a letter that Rosenstein had penned criticizing former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the Clinton probe as justification to fire Comey. Rosenstein reportedly felt he had been “used” by the president as an excuse to fire Comey.
The Times said Rosenstein “appeared conflicted, regretful and emotional” during what can only be described as a coup attempt against a sitting president.
While Rosenstein and Trump clearly never saw eye to eye, the level of resentment that Rosenstein harbored toward the president was not previously known. Unsurprisingly, the story has already fired up speculation that Rosenstein may have been the anonymous administration official who penned a critical op-ed that was published earlier this month in the New York Times.

Why the hell has Trump put up with all these deep state depredations against him and everyone else? Why weren’t they all fired and jailed long ago? What do they have on him? Did they threaten him or his family? Or has he been working with the deep state all along? Why did the NYT publish this? What nefarious scheme do they have in mind? None of this makes sense.
I feel the same way, but the answer is pretty simple: the GOP-establishment types will join with the Dems to immediately impeach him. So until he has enough hard evidence that makes it impossible for the Swamp Rats to question his firing, they have to stay, and the establishment types will continue to use the RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA! mess to keep Trump in a weakened position. Also, I imagine the Deep State criminals have enough dirt on GOP-types that they will be blackmailed into impeachment, if DT fires them.

It should be obvious now that the American Jewish community has been engaged in treason for some time. Just as the Rosenbergs had to be put in the electric chair for treason so too must Rosenstein and anyone else connected to this coup.
Further the US government should halt any further aid to Israel and encourage Jews who will not swear an oath of allegiance to the United States to make Aliyah and go to Israel or any other country that will have them. Their assets will be seized as well.
I’m all out of guesses. This is flat out mutiny, sedition, whatever you want to call it. Doesn’t matter if the Russia case is real- and if it were, we’d have seen it by now-it only matters that the sitting President has no control over his chain of command. If nothing happens BIGLY before mid-terms to correct the situation, stick a fork in her, she’s done.

Here is why this is ‘beyond’ serious. The Jew Rosenstein made this non denial denial. “I never pursued nor authorized’ the attempt to overthrow the Potus. What does that mean?
I go to a company meeting and suggest to the treasurer and senior executive we can embezzle millions if my plan is adopted. They look at me and refuse to commit. I did not ‘pursue or authorize’ the plan but larceny was clearly my intent.
This is the moth eathen cloth behind which the rotten Rosenstein suggests he didn’t commit treason. Sorry, that won’t work. Rosenstein needs to be executed.
We will see what Trump is made of. I hope that we like what we see. I fear that Dan is right about the establishment Republicans. I’m not optimistic.
T4C has a probable scenario for this latest development and one I hope will be the real outcome, but I have a little doubt. My concern is if you look from the very beginnings of MAGA, the one constant has been ” we have all we need and will be released any day now; tick tock.” Then a little later, “Well, the first IG report was not quite, but don’t worry, the second one will be out (next year now) soon.” Tick Tock. This path is the most damaging as it is the death of one thousand cuts, each delay after each cut suggests there is no need to rise up to stop the attack, just wait, it will all be better soon. With each delay the enemy gets stronger and the patriots weaker, until the inevitable end.
Why do I think there is reason for hope with T4C’s outcome? There is something new happening; The NYT (Trump hater) is spilling the beans on Rosenstein (Trump hater). When the rats begin to turn on each other, I begin to see light at the end of the tunnel (whether its my Maker, or the dawn of a new restored republic, time will tell).
One thing is for sure, the finish line is the 2018 vote, the liberals have been sinking into irrelevance since the Trump presidency started and are now down to a hail Mary pass in the final seconds of their existence; the stakes get higher when all you have left is all or nothing.
