Once upon a time, they use to write songs about California Dreaming. It is now turned 180 degrees to the main dreaming in California is how to get out of the same. You just cannot keep raising taxes endlessly reducing the standard of living of the people and survive indefinitely. It is official. The net migration leaving California is showing up not just in the statistics, rental cars leaving the state, but now at least 1800 businesses have packed their bags and left headed to Texas or Florida.
You still see a lot of new construction in Dallas for office space going up around town. It gives the impression that there is no recession in the United States as we see in Europe and Asia. To a large extent, much of the boom in Texas and Florida is being driven by the net migration leaving California, Illinois, New York, and New Jersey – just to mention a few. The people are leaving the high tax regions and move to the states with no state income tax.
Philadelphia has also a city income tax. Worse yet, they want an income tax from people just visiting. They are taxing sports players per game in Philadelphia and that is also one of the reasons why we will never again hold a conference in Philadelphia. They demanded an income tax from us just to hold a conference in their city. They cannot understand that this type of taxation imposed upon people bringing business to the city for an event will only cause them to hold their events elsewhere.
Of course, those in government lack common sense. There lies the real problem. People ask me gee are you still forecasting doom and gloom? They prefer someone who predicts wonderful times ahead even if it is no true. Will we survive? Of course! These are the times that force change on government. Unfortunately, they will never reform until they are absolutely forced to do so.
Kalifornia is also planning to tax text messages. “Nobody still texts, they use apps like WhatsApp and Telegram” you say? KA wants to tax its citizens for text messages they sent in the last five years. Why? Because homeless poor people need to text too.

Fuck the Mexicans. CA was part of Mexico for 24 years; it’s been a U.S. State for 168 years. The wetbacks can have it after they pay for the all of upgrades since then.
Old Krank – CA paid for them to take it back, via welfare, educatng them, etc. And so take it back they did.

We here in Kalifornia have the same Demon-crat machine with sharp claws that has held us hostage for
generations – generations!! The thing is when Kalifornian’s leave this slavish state
they take their Kalifornia Socialist, Demoncrat-attitude, snobbish attitudes with them to populate other states -who understandably don’t want them.
Then again, over time things might change if enough of them move out, then the sane, rational folks with an honorable and decent moral compass are left and things could turn around for the better….wishful thinking, perhaps!
It’s all a rigged set-up and voting does no good. The clutches of evil cling too deep. The best is that Sacramento will get hit with a huge earthquake or even float out to sea.
This California native took his libertarian/anarcho-capitalist attitudes and libertarian/anarcho-capitalist wife and brought them all to Georgia, where we have been happily spreading them and educating/influencing others for the past 21 years. ALL Californians are not Progressive Socialists, just like all Americans did not support Obama when he was president. There are NO 100% ANYTHING states, cities, or nations. That the minority is NOT protected from the will of the majority just shows how completely stupid it is to believe that a piece of paper (the Constitution) can keep pieces of shit from ruining a country or destroying the freedoms of the minority. There are still plenty of freedom-lovers in CA who for whatever reason, haven’t left. Most likely it is because freedom no longer truly exists in the US, so what is one horrible state over another? When we had sovereign states, there were actually safe havens.
Happily my mother in law got out, as did my mother, and both of their homes are long-since sold. A few family and friends still live there, but most of them never got it anyway, so they probably are fine with the tyranny.
If I were a MLB/NBA/NFL or NHL player I would ask the coach if I was going to play in a game in Philadelphia and if I was a bench warmer I’d ask to not attend the game. I’d take a cab to the stadium if they absolutely needed me but to hell with showing up and putting on a uniform and have to pay income tax on those games.
What do you get when you replace people of European backgrounds with Mexicans in California? Well…you get more of Mexico. Why is this simple fact so hard to understand by brainwashed Whites in western nations? Do people really believe that a magical transformation takes place upon crossing the Rio Grande such that Mexicans in the US start building instead of destroying Western Civilization? Same for Black Africans, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
And not to mention they are still mad that a white guy named Hernan Cortes with about six hundred white men overran the whole continent.
The natives could not even figure out the wheel. Of course the human sacrifice angle they had down pat.

The problem with this analysis is that the voters of CA overwhelmingly approved higher taxing legislative candidate, a gas tax and kicked out almost all Republicans.
Sure large numbers of citizens are leaving CA, Il, NY and NJ for TX and FL. However, they then vote exactly as they did in the sending state. These new arrival have turned Colorado, Nevada and now Arizona dependable Democrat. Sad to say Florida and Texas will go that way in 2020.

As for those of you that think all former Californians vote to screw up their new home states, I call bullshit. Maybe y’all should look at how many dead people and illegals are voting in your local and state elections (not to mention the abundant ballot/voting machine fraud perpetrated by {D} party officials pretty much everywhere) before spewing your ignorance of why people are leaving CA in the first place.
