My Grandfather, British army 1915-1946, would consider his whole life wasted. I am so happy he is not here to witness this madness and happy too to be living under a military junta here in Thailand that, by comparison, is infinitely better at running a country than my fellow Brits. I have made my last trip to England.
If you are happy with Thai corruption, I guess it is an ok place.

Beautiful place, really great friendly people, fantastic cuisine, unbelievable beaches, safe to walk the streets of major cities at 1 AM and the indigenous corruption can’t hold a candle to what happens anywhere else in the world. That includes Canada, U.S. or Germany.

While its true that personality traits can be either strengths or weaknesses depending on how/when they’re applied, I don’t guess that character defects, neurotic compulsions, bad habits and obsessions fall under the same umbrella necessarily. Talk about a military in dire need of cannon fodder.
