“It’s National Security Stuff” Says AGW

Guest Post by Eric Peters

One of the neat things about being a “law enforcer” is having the power (because you’ve got the gun) to make up laws – and then enforce them.

Here we have a guy walking around in a public area, taking video of things which can be viewed from the public area. There is no law prohibiting either nor requiring permission prior to doing either thing.

A “law enforcer” ought not only to be aware of this but to respect the legally protected right of the guy to walk around in public and film things visible from public areas.

Instead, the AGW makes up a law – “national security stuff.”

“You can’t be taking pictures of critical infrastructure,” the AGW continues – assuming a posture of Authoritah and condescension.

The man asks which law he has run afoul of.

“You can either provide your name or you’re going to jail,” the AGW threatens.

“You’re being detained for taking pictures of an infrastructure,” the AGW eructs.

No statute forbidding this is cited.

“Do you know what Homeland Security is,” the bullet-headed bully asks?

The man asks the bullet-headed bully whether he knows what the Constitution is. And what it says with regard to the 1st Amendment.

“I’ll get a warrant,” says the second AGW. “It’s not hard.”

The bullet-headed bully admits the man filming is standing in public, on a public right of way – and continues to “detain” him with implicit threats of murderous violence.

“You can’t take pictures of the rails,” says the AGW “unless you have permission…”

Which is patently untrue – and so, the “detaining” of the man is illegal.

As are the AGW’s demands for ID – which require the AGW to assert a violation of the law prior to demanding ID.

Instead, the AGW asserts “suspicion” … of nothing in particular.

In other words, give me your ID because I demand it.

Amazing – and depressing. Does it not trouble anyone to see laws being made up – and enforced – without any legal consequences?

What do you suppose would happen if you or I just walked up to someone on the street and began to badger them – while wearing a gun? Used the implied threat of that gun to “detain” the victim?

We’d be arrested – rightly.

And charged with crimes.

Why are AGWs permitted to commit crimes under color of law – and go unpunished?

First thing stop calling them officers, they are nothing of the sort. I like to call them scum, welfare recipients and my personal favorite road pirate.

Think of the dumbest kids you went to school with, they’re cops now,low IQ . The two fucks in that video probably around 70 and I’m feeling generous giving them that.

We’ve been indoctrinated for far too long with this nonsense.

Carry on and arm up, the hour is getting late……

“Why are AGWs permitted to commit crimes under color of law – and go unpunished?”

Peters’ rhetorical question, is really the question of our time. Its answer is also the answer to nearly all of the problems our country, culture, and society face.

The source of the problem may date to 1920.

Good thing “Cartman” didn’t go to his tricycle and get his billy club and wail on Randy Marsh but good. Like Kyle says, “I hate it when Cartman has authoritah.”

Indeed, as StackingStock puts it, they are the dumbest kids you went to school with. They boast at length with all the glee of a jock-laden locker room about the people they’ve harassed and otherwise abused-a behavior I’ve personally witnessed more than once. Untrustworthy in the main, corrupted, jaded and more criminal than lawful, cops are definitely not the good guys we once wanted to believe they were.

Using the officers premise, just breathing air means you can maybe just maybe be contemplating breaking the law so therefore you are detained, for the “investigation”. Fuckwit.

Not that i am a statist, but let me point out that the officer believes what he is saying and has great conviction in his belief. He isnt trying to just harass for the sake of harassing someone.

That just means it’s a totalitarian system vs a garden variety authoritarian system. Much worse.

Don’t you just love the little print-on badges, cops around here have polo shirts with the the printed badge. Bald, shaved heads and a fake star, real clint eastwood types.
Nothing like the old cowboy movies.

Two old guys over 60 taking photos under the new suspension bridge being built in Long Beach, California. Yes, me and a 71 year old friend. Within 3 or 4 minutes, a police officer showed up and moved us along, in a nice way, pointing out that someone from the businesses around would call the police on us and with Homeland Security as it is nowadays, several units would roll up and we would probably be harassed. I thanked her for the warning and we left. She was polite and never got out of the car, just talked to us.

I work at a container terminal in San Pedro. Access is limited to people with a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). It’s regulated by the federal government and there are signs everywhere warning against photography on the terminal.
What a joke. Everything is concrete, steel or heavy equipment. There’s virtually nothing a person could do to the infrastructure unless he had the ability to get mass quantities of “WMD” on the premises (or you could just drive around the guard shack onto the terminal like a maniac did a couple years ago. Wound up climbing up a ship to shore crane and eventually falling 160′ to the dock- he won’t do it again).
Point is, you could photograph from the chain link perimeter fence or from a boat passing by or click on Google Earth for amazingly detailed pics. These draconian no photo rules are routinely ignored anyway by everyone on the terminal. Every time there’s an accident or mishap dozens of phones come out to document it.
Pointless rules in the name of NATIONAL SECURITY.
