Armed Forces Medley through the Years

To honor fallen veterans of our own communities, I hope you will join me in listening to the Armed Forces Medley from one or more of the past five years since my favorite old veteran faded into glory.  I’m sure there’s a big war story room where old veterans go to tell their stories until they become true. Or at least they tell them well enough they seem to be true.

(Don’t worry… the medleys get shorter and shorter for some reason. I’ve annotated the length in parenthesis, to assist you in choosing.  2015 is best one, I believe.)

2014 Concert (7:38 and ends with Taps)

2015 Concert (7:43 and it begins as it should, with Taps.)

The Medley begins to be shortened and I seem to notice some blending of the red and blue into a purple, with some aqua tones coloring the blue.  But, it could just be the effect of all the rainbows around us.

However shortened, the medley is stirring to those of us who remember someone special who served with Sacred Honor, no matter what corrupt cause sent them to die on foreign soil for the love of power and money.

2016 Concert (4:00  Taps?  Sound equipment?)

2017 Concert (4:59)

2018 Concert (5:18)

So, here’s to all who served with honorable intent and did the best he or she could do, believing it was for good purpose.  I hope that each of us, when asked, simply does the best we can do.

I’ve heard that is all Sacred Honor requires.

P.S.  However, donations to Admin here at TBP may be in order.  Let’s all remember the man whose vision allows each of us a platform onto which we may project our thoughts via post ([email protected] for those willing to write something readable) or comments with very few restrictions (just look at Stucky’s horse-related article among other gems you might find in his pocket)  and send him a check or money order, if not a digital bit of coinage.

While Free Speech may indeed be free, it is growing more and more costly to broadcast it over any sort of network.  Thanks a lot, Admin, for making it possible to say what we want to say, for better or worse and in sickness and in health.  As long as the remnants of liberty shall live.

If you somehow can embrace the pageantry of the music while ignoring the TRUTH of the bloodshed, misery, LIES, CORRUPTION, PROFITS FOR THE BANKSTERS, AGGRESSION, WAR CRIMES, etc. then there is likely little that will ever help you to understand the truth of what the military is REALLY about (in most countries), and what modern warfare is really about.

That’s because maggie/ec was never actually in the armed forces.
