The op-ed argues that prostitution “should be decriminalized across the globe.”

However, it’s by no means the first time the online magazine has pushed questionable practices on its young readership.
Last year, Teen Vogue published an instruction piece on anal sex. Last week, the outlet also advised minors how to get abortion without parental consent.
According to Teen Vogue, it considers its readers to be activists. Following the closure of its print model, Teen Vogue has heavily moved into politics because this kind of clickbait trash drives significant traffic to its website – but at what cost?

Like the war on drugs, the war on medical choice, etc. the war on prostitution is just another way of saying that the GOVERNMENT owns us and that we do not own ourselves. You either can do with your body what YOU wish, or you are nothing more than the property of another/the state.
I in no way endorse this activity, just like I don’t endorse drug use. Most certainly, promoting this activity is beyond shameful, especially in the context of teen girls.
But the ills that come with the black market, are far worse than the ills of allowing people to do with their bodies as THEY see fit. They always have been, and they always will be.
Freedom is not utopia, and it has never been promoted as such. But it is a far cry better than the tyranny of the state treating all of us as its property, and destroying our freedoms in response.

While I didn’t like the direction of the magazine. It sure does show how hopeless some people see things. Legalizing prostitution seems like a common sense idea. It isn’t going away, no taxes are collected. Same logic about people smoking weed. No, I don’t think Jews are involved.
