They want government to solve the climate "emergency".
Their solutions would make us all poorer while doing almost nothing for climate.

climate strike – a successful scam, employed by the teacher’s union to gain un-authorized paid time off, by engaging in brainwashing the youth, with fears about the unknown, for personal gain.
next time, it will be due to a comet or meteor, that may pass withing 2 lightyears of earth, but it will have the backing of the “scientific community” so that the can get another free paid day off.
What we have is feeble minded, immoral public employees, cashing in on fear mongering propaganda.

Looks like hundreds will be gathering in St. Paul this afternoon, it’s sad watching the ill informed take apart the country that will be long gone before the earliest climate change predictions take hold. Sad.
As Ridley points out in “The Rational Optimist,” there’s no money in saying the future is going to be just fine.
Visited the St. Paul capitol this afternoon during global strike. This is what we are up against.
1. The parents are clear global warming is a hoax, but if their kids are into it, the parents tend to go along.
2 hey kids why don’t you take the day off of school and come down and protest with us, it will be fun!
3 while your having fun with silk parachutes and group games, let us teach you a few songs, like “ hey ho hey ho, global warming’s got to go”
I’d say maybe 400 to 600 showed up and according to my observation, the kids had so much fun, I’m sure they will be going the next time a protest comes up.
Greta May be a poor spokesperson, but as a role model for kids, she is just what the climate change activists are looking for.
I had a short video, but could not get it from my phone to the post.
I don’t know about the rest of the country, but here in the twin cities, I’d say it was well attended.
