Birth of the democrat party.
Actually, the Demostructive party was founded by Thomas Jefferson. Although, he named it the Republican party to begin with to tie it with the thoughts of republicanism. It was later the party decided to change the name to the Democratic Party. The current republican party didn’t exist until the 1850s. The Whig party became known as the party of lords or the money party. It fell out of favor with the voting public of white land owners. So they changed their name to the formerly Thomas Jefferson “Republican” party. However, the Whigs, a party aka republican party, was neither republican or liberty minded. Their goal was soaking the working people to redistribute wealth to the politically connected. This was Lincoln’s legacy. He waged war on people that refused to be slaves to the politically connected. Yet, slaves of them he did make, and what is so hilarious is he made slaves of those that endorsed his war. So now, we are all now chattel slaves to the U.S. Government. Isn’t that nice?
Also, Nathan Bedford Forest created and formed the KKK. When he found that the members of the group only focused on black people he disavowed them and their actions. The KKK was to be an action against the northern carpetbaggers. Alas, propaganda won again!
Tell me the democrat party is not the racist party.
It was the democrat party, only in recent history has it morphed into the “democratic party”, a definite contradiction.
