Oh, that was very good. And funny.
What Vic said.
Forgot to add compulsory fingerprinting for each abortion applicant, DNA sample, and a retinal scan for good measure.
Thanks for this.
The CBSN online channel didn’t provide live coverage of the president’s remarks to the March for Life on Friday — they mentioned it for a few seconds before leaping into more impeachment analysis. But in the minutes before impeachment coverage on Wednesday, they ran an exclusive interview from Davos, Switzerland with Planned Parenthood acting CEO Alexis McGill Johnson. Reporter Kate Smith wasn’t asking the tough questions.

Where’s that physiognomy analyst
I saw a feel good story about how an infant was found this morning at a fire station and how it has finally paid off to install the little heated boxes outside fire houses.
I don’t want to be a killjoy, but one shouldn’t joke about abortion IMHO.
Life is a gift from God. (Genesis 9:6; Psalm 36:9) He considers all life to be precious, including the life of a child in the womb. So if someone intentionally kills an unborn child, that amounts to murder in the eyes of our creator.
Psalm 139 – 16 “Your eyes even saw me as an embryo; All its parts were written in your book Regarding the days when they were formed, Before any of them existed.”
What it’s saying is that our creator has already coded DNA life at the point of conception (the book) before there was nothing. This is the miracle of life and can only be performed by intelligent design some would argue:
Your point is well taken. But this is applying liberal logic to something they “embrace” to make a point. Abortion is definitely not funny. But neither is taking away guns. (Yes, not the same thing and I’m not making light of it.)
No, I didn’t think you were, sweet VV, and agree the liberal logic is faulty. You are quite right about guns. Here in UK we have no history of gun ownership so it is difficult for us to understand the 2nd Amendment; but I am fully aware of how far you culture goes on this one and given the emergence of a police state – I think you need all the guns you can get.
Peter – recall my earlier comment that our (those of us here in the USA) ancestors from Europe were not willing to put up with the status quo in Europe (and therefore left for America), and the ancestors of the folks still in Europe WERE willing to put up with it? Also, recall that our Revolutionary War actually started (the shooting part, anyway) when the British showed up in Concord to confiscate weapons and ammunition from the colonists? The colonists were willing to put up with taxes (MUCH lower than what we have NOW, BTW), etc, but the confiscation of arms was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back. Yes, that is WHY we have the 2nd amendment and why we take it so seriously. And, we do. Somehow the left over here doesn’t seem to get the “shall not be infringed” part. Unfortunately, it is long past the point of “shall not be infringed” – a bit at a time, similar to “how to boil a frog”. To your last point – no, one can never have enough guns. Or ammunition.
All good, DinCO, thank you and I do fully understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately many of my countrymen don’t know their history and how important it is for you to retain that special quality of independence which ensures your freedoms.
Hopefully, now that we are leaving the EU perhaps that special quality can be recovered here – and we will if TPTB push us too far, as we are slow to anger, but dangerous when a line is crossed.
Austrian Peter, I know you probably think all Americans are obsessed with guns, but we’re really not. Or rather, we weren’t. The normal American thinks of a gun as a needed tool. Our country is large and there are many wilderness areas. If you live near a wilderness area, a large countryside, or a mountain area, there are wild animals, such as bear, coyotes, foxes, wolves, wild cats and even snakes, from which you have to protect yourselves and your livestock. You may need it for protection from others, such as in urban areas. You know the saying, when seconds count, the police are only minutes a way. People have guns for hunting. Also, we have the right to bear arms in case of tyrannical government, which is the real reason it’s in the Constitution.
It seems the progressives are the ones obsessed with guns and the 2nd Amendment. They are pushing hard to get rid of it, which makes us focus on it. That’s what it’s all about. If it wasn’t for that push, we wouldn’t be discussing it.
Well said, VV. We have weapons as potentially needed tools. Personally, where we live, we have bears and mountain lions roaming the area – we had a black bear come through a few years back and kill one goat and seriously maim 3 others. To your point (VV), why do people carry a weapon? – because a policeman is too heavy and won’t fit in a pocket/holster. Or, as it is said – God made man, but Mssrs. S&W made them equal (or leveled the field somewhat).
None of the police in my area will fit in my holster. Well said, DinCO.
Peter…VV is right.
There are too many super dangerous, vicious, deadly SNAKES!
(With legs and arms and their government and illegal guns will never be confiscated).
OK, Mark, VV and DinCO – I have the message and I am with you guys and will endeavour to educate my erstwhile compatriots! :-)))
Well, good luck with the educating part, especially educating those that elected Khan as the mayor of London….. I really liked (sarc) the announcement of a knife company in your neck of the woods selling knives without the pointy end. Oh, yeah, THAT will cut down on the knife crime! Can no one do root cause analysis over there ???
As if you couldn’t sharpen the blunted end of a knife. Sheesh.
Yes, my point (no pun intended).

DinCO – have a look at my reply to VV
I hope you regain that right.
It might come in handy against those Muslim rape gangs attacking white girls and young women.
Back in the day of swords, had that happened, the man of the house would not have been condemned for killing anyone who raped a family member. Now we have cops and courts that decide such things. Sometimes I wonder if the past didn’t have the right answer.
By the way, I’m just curious, what part of the U.K. are you in, Austrian Peter?
Hi VV & DinCO,
Your points (ha ha) are well made. Let me fill you in. I live in the South West of England (Wessex or the West Saxons), some 20 miles south of Bath in the county of Somerset. It is a sleepy rural village called Bruton and is your typical English-type village where we have a small cottage – pop 3,000. Crime is zero, everyone is pleasant and civilised and you wouldn’t know the world was going to isht whilst here – bit like the 1940-50s. “The Church of St Mary, Bruton was founded by ‘Ine of Wessex’ in the 7th century, Bruton was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as ‘Briuuetone’, meaning ‘Vigorously flowing river’ from the Old English ‘tor’ and Celtic ‘briw’ meaning vigour.” We still have our river Brue running through the town.
London is not representative of Britain, it is a cosmopolitan trash heap composed mainly of immigrants, celebs and Russian oligarchs. Most of us rural types avoid it like the plague. Most knife crime occurs there but it only has a population of 9.8m which is 14% of our total for GB. Scotland is 5.5m and Wales is 3m both of which haven’t moved much since the 1920s. England is 47m.
By way of note: “Politically, ‘Great Britain’ (GB) refers to the whole of England, Scotland and Wales in combination, but not Northern Ireland; it includes islands, such as the Isle of Wight, Anglesey, the Isles of Scilly, the Hebrides and the island groups of Orkney and Shetland, that are part of England, Wales, or Scotland.” ‘UK’ includes Northern Ireland.
Most of the Northern population of England vote Labour by tradition (heavy industry of the past). But this time they switched in bulk to Boris which has gone against the London lot who vote Labour (being mostly liberal, wishy washy, snowflakes and immigrants). This is why they get a Muslim mayor and have stupid rules like blunt knives (and we expect them to rule the country?). This is how crazy it has got there in the capital city.
But, for the bulk of us – we couldn’t give a isht because it doesn’t affect us – we just enjoy our quiet rural life and let it all happen on TV!
VV & DinCO – it might help to round things off about GB if you have a look a my Australian friend’s article this week. Gerry Brady has been an amazing help to me over the years in writing my book. I recently wrote him a letter about life in UK/GB and he posted part of it. Multiply £s by 1.3 for US$:

Sounds interesting. I’ll check that out.
Thanks for the write-up, AP. I’ve always wanted to go to Great Britain because of my love of the history there. Plus, some of my ancestors were from Scotland and England. At this point in life, it looks like I’ll never get there. But I have to say, the Muslims were a turnoff, for sure.
I’m glad to know the places there, except London, are still nice. I watch a lot of English and Scottish wild camper videos as relaxation after work, none of whom are anywhere near London. I also watch TA Fishing, a guy named Graeme, who lives in the south as well, probably close to you. I love seeing the little villages and surrounding countryside. So picturesque. It’s very relaxing.
Yes VV – it’s really idyllic apart from the God-awful weather!
I would love to get back to Texas again – maybe one day.
Watching the news you would think the U.S. Is some wild and crazy place. most people here have a gun, in a closet. there are lots of friendly decent people here. The second amendment is more about keeping an out of control gov. in check. You will see no talk about people taking personal responsibility for their actions. I guess its an old fashioned way of thinking.
I think it’s a good way of thinking, yahsure, it was much simpler in my day – now the police state has taken over so yes, you do need protection – Big Time!
Liberal and logic do not go together.
The four L’s are:
1. Lying
2. Lost
3. Liberal
4. Loons
Two examples of liberal in a Sentence:
Secular: Many ice fishermen keep their holes from freezing over with liberal injections of antifreeze.
Political: Most Liberal lost politicians keep their lying pie holes from telling the truth with liberal injections of lies, PC bullshit, and loony Collectivism.
And they look the other way when it comes to baby murder and infanticide…all for the ‘Greater Good’ doncha ya know.
Anytime and everytime I read that “common sense” bullshit I want to drive down to my local government office and punch someone in the head. Just sayin’.
Or, similar to what I heard at work through the years – “Sure, let’s make that process change. It’s a no brainer!” Yup, it usually was….
Why is Planned Parenthood still being funded with taxpayer money in 2020?
Because the Republicans are either lost, Democrat light phonies, bribed, blackmailed, or weenies.
Am researching this issue back past Margaret Sanger…people have no idea.
True – I’d guess people backing PP would be horrified if they realized her intentions. A 1939 quote of hers -“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” Her goal was essentially implementing eugenics.
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/apr/23/margaret-sanger-founded-planned-parenthood-on-raci/
What is really interesting is that the original intent was to increase the use of contraceptives and limit the need for abortions, but it had the complete opposite impact, especially in communist and poverty stricken regimes.
She was an elitist who believed the Negro and other inferior races should limit their procreation while preferred races would breed more selectively.
She was wrong in a big way.
It goes well before Sanger. Wasn’t the Fabian Society behind a lot of this?
VV,
You can trace the links in this chain back to the Garden of Eden…as well as the cure to the curse.
I believe it. There has been a lot of evil in the world.
You are 100% right about the Fabian Society being a link.
I am not so sure Eve was lobbying for reproductive rights in the Garden, but you are correct in finding the origin of the confusion.
It is almost always the Lust for Power.
Oh, what would be comparable to a “red-flag law”??
How about – we have been told by your neighbor, that were you to get pregnant, you MIGHT get an abortion, so to avoid that you must wear this chastity belt. Your friendly local government official will have the key, so you will be allowed to have sex when it confirmed that you are on birth control. We can’t be too careful now, can we?
Funny!
