A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
nkit, Austrian Peter, and Steve C.
Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.
We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.
Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.
We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.
A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.
We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

Faded
Check Alan Walker out. He is a son of English Norwegian genetics.
Very talented on keyboards synthesizers and often has orchestras to accompany him.
This one is his biggest hit, titled “Faded” with the exquisite voice of Iselin Solheim.
Sing Me To Sleep
The next piece also features the lovely voice of Iselin Solheim…Sing Me to Sleep
Alone
I’ll finish this out with a song titled: Alone (Restrung)
André Rieu performing Shostakovich’ “The Second Waltz” live in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
Now for some dance music – a beautiful waltz
André Rieu & Gheorghe Zamfir performing The Lonely Shepherd live in Romania.
Congratulations to all Romanians for this top artist and music that touches the soul.
Amazing Grace
The Mebius Saxophone Ensemble
Nothing more needs to be said about this piece.

Celtic Woman
Another truly beautiful version.
The Classic Music Mafia – Adding some class to this joint one Sunday at a time.

Not many people realize that they ran together…
Thanks Maggie.
RED BARCHETTA
and then my kind of classical
and not to be outdone…
I actually thought that Red Barchetta was kind of nice.
Thanks RiNS
I always loved Rush’s Xanadu. The melodic beginning and end are priceless.
Always a pleasure to hear from you Vixen Vic.
Thank you, Steve. I love what you’re doing with the classics.
A little normalcy in a sea of crazy.
You got that right.
Amazing Grace … absolutely breathtaking in some renditions … and the Celtic Women did it justice … beautiful, delicate, powerful — all at once.
Thanks for these Sunday Classics … they ‘make my day’ …
Thanks Anthony.
I love Celtic Women…
I came across this again this last week and had to add it. From the Civil War documentary by Ken Burns .
That was very nice Cow Doctor.
I’ll use it in a few weeks and credit you for it.
Thanks.
