Inflation in confined spaces can kill. I was on a boat when an electrician was almost crushed to death working in the escape hatch while underway. The life raft inflated and it took two men stabbing the raft with their pocket knives to deflate it. Those rafts had thick rubber.
Oddly it jumped out thru window just after this photo… weird… Could have waited until I opened the window at least
