Brilliant propaganda. The whole conspiracy boils down to recovering our humanity by introspection. Most of the homo sapiens are incapable of introspection and this vaulted imaginary humanity. Didn’t see that much around here. Some people would steer clear of you in the store, but most just looked in amazement at someone not obeying “the rules”. If you happened upon another free breather, you both just smiled and nodded your heads.
Yeah I didn’t deal with it very much except with the tourists. Some of them could be vocal about it but I always just laughed at them which made them even more angry.
No one said anything to me, but I did my best not to go out. Usually its more of a low effort avoidance. I guess they did give me wide birth like I have the plague. I think they did that before too.

My mother just turned 97. When she was 2 her father died and she went to live with her grand parents on a farm. Life was strict. She and her sister would sneak to the out house to go play cards which was forbidden.

Up here in Canada, we are well on our way to exactly this. We are locked down, shutdown, curfewed, interprovincial borders have police blockades to prevent non-essential travel. It doesn’t matter that you are Canadian in Canada. The ‘artist heros’ of all stripes are terrified of being cancelled in the clip is exactly what is going on here. Our woke, politically correct, virtue signaling artist and venues are beyond compliant as they sold out years to get their govt grants and subsidies. This clip was disturbing as hell because it so easy to see it happen. It feels like we’re halfway there. Public protests are now illegal and police mobs show up to close churches and put our Pastors in solitary confinement in penitentiary for health violations. And the sheep continue comply to each and every new extortion. I suspect that there were many decent good Germans in WWII who did exactly the same. Don’t make waves. Go along to get along. And suddenly your vaxx wristband becomes everything we saw in this video.
I’d consider trying to escape as a refugee to the US but, although some states seem to be waking up, you guys have enough serious problems that go beyond just dealing with the ‘new normal’.

I am in the U.S. I have little social interaction, but enough to assure you that here in not a blue hell-hole there is no one I can intelligently talk to about this police state we are in. They call themselves conservatives and they are clueless. Conservatives conserve the status quo not tradition or any independent identity. I’m sorry it’s that bad in CA. I can’t image how Trudow got re-elected, but look at the prizes we have in the White House. There is no opposition. The mistake was calling the less than human human. In a sense they are herd pragmatists. I’ll never be one, and they’ll never see me as one of them, even when I try. FTW.
