The Writers Journey by Christopher Vogler, an excellent book on story structure, heroes journey, story arc type stuff as it relates to myths and lore.
Last but not least, the book of James. This gave me a new perspective on churchianty. James seems like the real deal. Wonder why he is such a minor character as opposed to say…Peter. I have more respect for James now and less for Peter.
And yesterday I received my copies of Bronze age pervert, and Masculinity Amidst the Madness. Hope to have them finished by the time we go to Alaska in August, then I can give them to my son. I sent him Bachelor Pad Economics by Adam Cleary and he read it all and loved it. Anyone with twenty something kids should get this for them. It kind of speaks in their language according to Jr.
