Have ya had enough music for the weekend? Probably. Nevertheless, for you old farts out there, like me, this will bring back some sweet memories. Most Popular Song Each Month in the 60s and 70s. (About 5 -10 seconds per song.)

Very cool. Thanks for posting.
My new favorite Xmas video…
Thanks Stucky! I’m an old fart and I loved them. The best era of music and will never be surpassed. Of course, lots of memories.
Friday on the radio, they had a spot highlighting music & groups from 1967, which I consider to be one of the best years ever for music. I was in high school and well remember the songs as we “made the drag” through town.
In honor of you, my friend, here is a personal favorite from 1967:
Great post. Much I’ve forgotten. Was surprised and to see Gerry & The Pacemakers were in fact the spearhead of the “British Invasion” with You’ll Never Walk Alone in November of ’63 preceding The Beatles by 2 months. Of personal interest September of ’69, my birthday month, I shipped to Parris Island. The song was Bad Moon Risin’. Who knew?
Huge effort to put the collection together. THANKS.
Lots of top notch talent, but Elvis is still The King.
Great stuff Stucky – good effort and most enjoyable. All my favourite ones too. But I really love the Animals – reminds me of that time – back in the World:
I really do have to ‘get outta this place’ – I give it within two years. South Africa has elections in 2 years and I think major changes will happen:
I am planning to take a cargo ship from Southampton direct to Cape Town with my car (they are expensive in RSA) and essential goods. It’s not practical to fly when emigrating. My pensions will be vulnerable to the exchange rate, which at present is favourable, £1 = ZAR 20, but that might not prevail after the coming meltdown, so I am planning some consultancy work to earn ZAR. (RSA is very short of skills especially business skills and I love the work and have contacts already.)
Just thought I would update you as you expressed an interest in my intended move.
Glad you liked the vids.
And thanks for the update!!
I watched the 70’s version. We had some really good music back then. I was a part-time DJ throughout high school (72-76) and we played some great music. It’s surprising to see the bands that repeated, e.g. Abba, Wings, Elton, etc. I expected to see more of the southern rock bands cuz we sure played the hell out of them.
Yes the 70’s had bands other than “Pop”. Lynard Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Boston, etc
Did have at least BTO.
Interesting.
Try Pandora……my 1963 to 1973 playlist is over 1100 songs and growing. Gret to pass the time of day with.
