Yep. That bull is heavy and moving fast. I can’t see where that much momentum could have been soaked up by one guy.

Obviously, there’s some kind of trick, but that’s not a sufficient answer to satisfy me.
I’m seeing that, between one frame and the next, he threw out a black sheet. It’s clearly visible if you watch it slowly.
For my guess:
I believe the headbutt effect is a trick of perspective, his head wouldn’t be near the bull if we used a different camera. When the sheet was placed on the bull’s head it jumps backwards as it lands on its two front feet. Instinct? Training?
