At least that way you’ll always be prepared for the worst.

They’re always dispensing ingratiating advice like “buck up” and “smile, it might never happen” and “look at the bright side of things.” Feh.
No – you are a “doomer.” There’s no other way to be without lying to yourself. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be a regular fashionista while you’re at it.
