Is science dead?

Guest Post by Steve Kirsch

I think so. I asked to give a talk about COVID at MIT, but they couldn’t find a faculty member to sponsor it. Apparently they don’t allow viewpoints that challenge the mainstream narrative.

Twenty four years ago (in 1998), I donated $2.5M to MIT. They named the auditorium in the EECS building named in my honor: the Kirsch Auditorium, Room 32-123.

Kai von Fintel on Twitter: "The audience for Paul Kiparsky's keynote at #NELS50 is gathering. https://t.co/4Iaa8JXj4P" / Twitter

I’ve never asked to speak in the auditorium until now.

I wanted to give a talk at MIT about what the science is telling us about the COVID vaccines and mask wearing and how science is being censored.

I also wanted an opportunity to defend myself against unfair accusations made in MIT’s Tech Review accusing me of being a “misinformation superspreader.”

Am I a misinformation superspreader? Or is MIT one by publishing their article?

Read my rebuttal and decide for yourself who is telling the truth. There were 652 comments, nearly all of them suggesting I sue MIT for defamation.

They couldn’t find a member of the MIT faculty who was willing to sponsor me to give a talk that would examine the possibility that MIT made a serious mistake that jeopardizes the lives of students, staff, and faculty

MIT requires a faculty sponsor for all talks and they said they couldn’t find one willing to sponsor my talk.

Therefore, students will not have the opportunity to consider that there may be an alternate hypothesis that better fits the evidence on the table.

I had always believed that MIT was above politics, but it is clear I was mistaken in that belief.

Science is about objectively looking at the data and making hypotheses that fit the data

My claim is important and relevant to everyone at MIT. I claim that MIT made a serious mistake in mandating vaccines for students, staff, and faculty.

As Robert Malone has often said, “where there is risk, there must be choice.” The evidence couldn’t be more clear that the COVID vaccines are the most deadly vaccines in human history.

Shouldn’t this be a topic of great interest and relevance?

Or does science dictate that anyone with opposing views must be silenced and not given a platform to speak?

I have a message to the MIT faculty: you are on the wrong side of history.

There is ample evidence on the table now from credible sources that cannot be explained if the vaccines are safe.

This is why nobody will debate us. I even offered $1M to incentivize people to show up at the debate table. No takers. So I raised it to a “name your price” offer. Still no takers.

The MIT faculty doesn’t want to hear any of it. They will not let the MIT students hear any of it either.

The safety and efficacy of the vaccines shall not be questioned. The MIT faculty will not allow it.

That’s not how science is supposed to work.

Is there a single member of the MIT faculty who is the least bit curious that there might be another side of the narrative that is being unfairly suppressed?

Why doesn’t anyone want to know the answer to these questions?

There are many important questions that any critical thinker would have that need to be explored:

Apparently, none of the MIT faculty want to know the answer to any of these questions. It doesn’t even merit a serious discussion.

We are left with an unfortunate, but inevitable conclusion.

Institutional science is dead.

Shucks, by 1998 MIT was so far out of touch, surprised you could not have found a better place to give a few bucks.
Edit, Come to think of it, do not know where I would give some money away, except to a bum.

Whatever you do, do NOT leave any of your accumulated assets to an American college or university. Hopefully, you have one or more decent young relatives who can use these assets well.

Alternatively, you can just as productively spend your last dimes on alcohol, drugs and fast women.

Spelling error? Is science death, you mean?

We knew the world would not be the same. Few people laughed. Few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” I suppose we all thought that, one way or another. ~ J. Robert Oppenheimer

Engineering, too. And management. And government. And the Freud, among others, identified wish of many…who go into science, engineering, management, etc.

Goes way back. All the way back. Ain’t nuthin’ new.

Steve, I sure can relate to what you say. Me, I’m just an old, Jaguar Mechanic. Everyday I encounter The Wall (and not speaking of the Pink Floyd song either). I’ve been forbidden to even ask/speak about it with my doctor customers. Why? Are they afraid of the truth? Lucky for them I don’t do my job the same way or they would be sitting in their car and making engine noises by voice, pretending the damn thing was still running. Thanks for sharing your story.

My background is Physics & I’m afraid you’re right. There is a short ebook / long article by Bruce Charlton called
Not even trying: the corruption of real science.
https://corruption-of-science.blogspot.com/
What I’ve seen myself is that around 1880, the oligarchs of the US & Britain decided that education was too important to be left to teachers. By the early 1900s they decided that science was too important to be left to scientists.

Institutional science was ALWAYS bought and paid for. Science may be about being open to question the status quo, but the status quo won’t ever really allow that.

There’s still science but the scientists are unmasked. They talk about ‘Mass Formation psychosis’ but most of it is just plain old cowardice, fear and most of all lies= sin. It’s the way humans are.

Yes, I had to endure the fake townhall meetings at my former employer, Waters Corporation. A leading manufacturer of analytical chemistry instruments (LC-MS) and the so called science panel thought it funny to completely ignore the rational questions and concerns of the employees (most of us scientists and engineers in our own right) and tell us that they guarantee the clot shot “will not give us tails. “. F’n morons. But what can you expect when the new CEO, Udit Batra, is a former vaccine guy and WEF member.

Hmmmmm

By the way the pharmaceutical product touted as ‘Vitamin D’ is chemically identical to rat poison and probably should not be taken to treat or guard against any disease. The only natural source of Vitamin D is sunlight, the very thing we lose during ‘lockdown’:

“Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) and ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) are used as rodenticides. They are toxic to rodents for the same reason they are important to humans: they affect calcium and phosphate homeostasis in the body. Vitamins D are essential in minute quantities (few IUs per kilogram body weight daily, only a fraction of a milligram), and like most fat soluble vitamins, they are toxic in larger doses, causing
hypervitaminosis.”

IIRC, warfarin was one of the first rat poisons and interestingly is the basis for life saving blood clotting therapy. It needs to be taken in the manner of “not too much, not too little”. Wondering if there are similarities in how Vit. D and warfarin kill rats?

David Rockefeller Flexner Report. Science was bought and paid for a century ago. Why would the most powerful families in the world want everyone to have knowledge parity? What’s in it for them? Nothing. Knowledge parity threatens their power and stranglehold over the peasant class. Academia teaches people just enough to keep the system that elites established functioning. Damn near everything we’ve been told is either a lie or partially true with the remainder of said ‘partial truth’ being intentionally withheld from peasants. It doesn’t take a genius or conspiracy theorist to make that assertion. Once you confidently hold that belief, your mind will become free to entertain ideas not aligned with the status quo. Even if some ideas are later proved to be objectively false, at least you gave yourself permission to give them some degree of consideration rather than none at all. People tend to dismiss ideas if they cause discomfort. Yes, it would be nice to believe that Bill Gates, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Bush’s, Klaus Schwab, royal families, et al want to help cure disease and save the planet from climate change. Actions speak louder than words, and I assure you the most powerful families on this planet have no intention of helping us plebs. They want us weak, sickly, ignorant, unarmed, dependent, divided, distracted and entertained. People may disagree on the elite’s endgame plan for us. One thing upon which we agree is that their plans for us are not benevolent. Enslaved, eliminated or perhaps a little of both.
