It wouldn’t matter what I would say to the 18 year old me, I never listened to stupid old fucks like me anyway then.
I knew everything about everything at 18.

I agree with you, Grumpy. Starting my own business asap would have been a pretty good idea. Now, which one would I tell myself to start? Probably would have been in a trade working toward becoming a general contractor.
That would have been for my 28 year old self.
Really super-difficult choices for which is best three word answer =
“don’t goto school”
“learn howta fight”
“play serious games”
“read read read”
“learn about money”
“study lotsa history”
“start a business”
“marry smartest woman”
“keep wise counsel”
“never fear anything”

Get as far away from populated areas as you can and never look back. You really are on your own. That and never marry a career woman. A husky cornbread fed field hand with a voice deeper than yours than can plant, plow, pick and skin a catfish is a better choice for a partner than an hot office pod pension whore whose main goal is getting to the top of the money making network ladder, regardless the futility of it all.

I admit to dating a lot million years ago but even when I was young and stupid it was pretty obvious which women were for real and which ones were garbage. Now I realize that even back then it was pretty easy to find ladies that were gorgeous and smart… I don’t think I wasted my time back then but I also remember I saw too many guys putting far too much effort into garbage women with garbage beliefs in a garbage relationship…
Stop following the lusts of your flesh and consistently follow God’s word and His Spirit.

Move to Colorado and buy as much land as you can as often as you can. 10 – 20 miles from downtown Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and as close as you can to Vail, Breckenridge, Georgetown and Durango .

Nonsense. The SC Lowcountry, as long as you stay away from Myrtle Beach. Beaufort is a hidden gem.
But did enjoy my younger days (age 35-50) when I’d ski there every year for 1-2 weeks. Aspen was even affordable back then.
I’ve never been to Beaufort. I’ll put it on my bucket list. Aspen is beautiful, but way too pretentious for me.
I would tell myself the same thing. In the mid-80’s while in college I looked at a lot of Colorado realty magazines and knew it would be a good investment. I should have been more motivated to work hard, then I could have bought some of the properties.
I took a job in Denver in the early 80’s, but the wife demanded I move back closer to family and 2 years later filed for divorce. Should have stayed up there and sent her packing back to Momma.
Trust your gut.
So it would have to be something that my 18 Y/O self would understand and could implement.
And something that would demonstratively change my life arc for the better.
And there can only be three words.
So I would say
“Become a realtor”
The reason being that my Grandfather and my mother both sold real estate in my home town, so I could have easily got into the business.
The realtor gets about 3-5% of the sales price of the house.
And when I was 18 the average co st of a single family home in my town was about 30k and now it’s about 1.2 million,

Where would you suggest? I always thought I go to somewhere in Europe if things got unbearable in the US, but for right now I think the US is the best place to be, by a longshot. Choose your state and even county wisely.
