Everyone I know is walking around in a baseline state of nervous agitation. Are they beset by “disinformation” or is it rather the reality of a cratering nation run by idiots and maniacs? Everywhere you look, calamities gather speed while the klaxons of alarm blare from all compass points. Got money? Looks like soon it will be worthless. Wondering if Mr. Putin has had enough of “Joe Biden’s” brainless effrontery to lob some hypersonic Big Ones in our collective face? Relying on that retirement account you have no direct control over while the financial markets wobble? Need to fill up the gas tank of your pickup truck twice a week? Can’t find a new condenser to fix the failing fridge? Entertaining rumors of looming famine. Credit cards maxed out? Sheriff stapling an eviction notice on your door? Beloved younger brother declaring that henceforward they are your sister? Hearing that all those vaxxes and boosters you obediently submitted to might rearrange your DNA?
These are just a few of the concerns zinging through the zeitgeist these late days of the republic. You are correct to be anxious about them, so at least don’t worry about worrying. Just understand that the more events spool out in the direction of danger, the more you will be warned against “disinformation.” The good part is that now we know the identity of at least one person who is officially in charge of that: “disinformation expert” Nina Jankowicz (NiJank), new chief of Washington’s Disinformation Governance Board. Whose idea was that, by the way?
Homeland Security Sec’y Alejandro Mayorkis (AlMay) didn’t seem to know anything pertaining to disinformation last week when grilled in committee by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), including two of the most notorious cases in recent memory: Did the Steele Dossier include Russian disinformation? AlMay said he was “not equipped” to answer that question. Ditto the question — now definitively settled — as to whether Hunter Biden’s laptop stuffed with grifting memoranda was for-real. Of course, both of those matters were labeled previously as disinformation by his new expert hire, NiJank, who, it appears, is similarly unequipped to discuss the particulars at issue. But all this does raise the parallel issue: how much depraved insolence is the public supposed to tolerate from its public servants?
My guess: we’re nearing the end of America’s Christian patience for being snookered, gaslit, lied-to, bamboozled, and mind-fucked, especially as our nation gets gang-raped by the Party of Chaos. Perhaps the solution is to go a little further down the Roe v Wade path and make abortion fully retroactive, a new and innovative way to “cancel” lives whose obnoxious presence in the world is a menace to the human project. Declare the likes of AlMay and NiJank retroactively “unborn,” erasing their privilege to appointed office. The wire coat-hanger will not avail in this procedure, but lampposts would do nicely. Of course, it’s all just a hypothetical at this point.
Meanwhile, several Supreme Court justices are under siege in direct contravention of 18 U.S. Code § 115 — influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member. The authorities are permitting angry mobs to moil freely outside the Justices’ houses, while many January Sixth “insurrectionists” rot in the DC jail into a second-year on misdemeanor charges that the authorities refuse to adjudicate — meaning that there is no authority in Washington, DC, only a nameless, lawless simulacrum of it as conceived, say, in the spirit of Franz Kafka.
Hope abides that the November elections might set up a correction to much of this madness. The release on Saturday of Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary 2000 Mules does not provide a whole lot of encouragement about that. The Party of Chaos still has its apparatus of ballot fraud in place all over the country and nobody seems to know what to do about it (though the remedy is pretty simple and straightforward: in-person voting with voter ID). The evidence of drop-box video and smart-phone tracking of the 2020 ballot-stuffers in several states is right there and nobody in American life appears to be equipped to do something about it. The necessary equipment consists of two plum-sized glands generally assigned at birth to persons of the male persuasion. Perhaps, along with refrigerator condensers, the supply line for that is broken.
But first, of course, before the scheduled midterm elections there are roughly six months of nice weather to get through, meaning conditions that are favorable for action in the street, starring the shock troops of Progressive Wokery. Depending on where you live, maybe that’s another reason to feel those old heebie-jeebies creeping in on little spiders’ feet.

Met with a close friend yesterday who has asked my advice on him taking steps he has been weighing…closing out his 401k, pay the 10% penalty and going full blown Prepper (he has been taking baby steps, but feels there is not much time left to get seriously prepared – I agreed and we discussed details…especially what a sudden Credit Freeze would be like).
He lost a lucrative career over the Jabs…sees the dark future of his stocks, bonds, and fiat petro dollars realistically in my opinion, and is ready to make some big moves. He now is making a small percent of what he used to before refusing to poison himself, and sees what is coming. He is past angry, and filled with a simmering rage of having his career destroyed.
I suspect there are ‘some’ all over the country in the same position…being forced to make the same decisions to get ready. I am well over a decade of being 100% all in. I told him I didn’t think he had a lot of time.
I would be surprised if the November election is actually held…but I have been wrong before, especially at TLPTB’s ability to pump up the size and the longevity of the Everything Bubble.

No, it’s a long much more comprehensive story, I didn’t go into all aspects of what he is pissed off about over the Covid Con, but having your income drastically reduced, and having no companies in your field (Medical Equipment) that will hire you without the jab – because you won’t allow them to inject you with known poisons (he has done his homework) is a significant point.
This is a rock solid outstanding guy with a wife and two teenagers who worked his ass off and built a solid career (not just a job) and has had it destroyed over refusing the jab. He has worked in medical supply sales his entire adult life…and he said that is over everywhere without being jabbed.
I did tell him this. If he wanted to get a travel trailer…TSHTF…and his Cul-de Sac becomes untenable he can park the trailer on my farm behind two gates by my house, and stand with me and mine.
That’s how much I think of him.

I’m a retired septuagenarian medical doctor; the number of unsolicited job-offers that turn up in my email has definitely gone up over the last few months.
I suspect a fair number of older docs have taken early retirement and just got the Hell out of the medical rat race.
My 41 year old son had enough of Oregon’s state employee “system” , more or less take additional jabs and while you will not be fired for refusal we will eliminate your position. A cousin worked for the state of California in the 80’s-90’s at the capital building in Sacramento. One visit during that time frame and I decided not to pursue a job offer in Sacramento. When I go there I just hang low and out of sight sort of not mingling with anything other than some of the fine hoppy craft brews.

A decade or so back, it was possible to jump through multiple hoops involving an LLC, owned within an IRA, with a flexible (that is to say, expensive) custodian, and yourself hired as the LLC’s manager, to actually own physical PM and store them wherever the Hell you wanted (even in another country).
It is possible those doors have been closed, since the IRS certainly never liked them. FWIW, I distributed all but a small slice of my retirement plan a decade ago, and have no regrets.

I have what little is left of my IRA invested in a fairly conservative mutual fund, managed by someone who is good at it and pays attention. Nevertheless, when I gave him the account, I told him I didn’t actually need the money left in it, and intend that, if any remains, that it continue to be given to the Alzheimers Association.
I have, over many years, invested my IRA in a pretty wide variety of things. Some had better results than others. Timing is important.

I have been a macro guy investing/hedging, never an active trader, took my own council from searching the web, reading and listening to a host of pundits I had respect for. Always got out of stocks early and back in late, but never lost a penny – know people with the opposite timing who will be working until they drop.
Been stacking since the early 80’s…macro buying when low…and just holding…600% gain on some 1999 Gold purchases.
The only short term gambles I took was when they drove Gold down to around $1,200, $1,300 in 2015 and 2018. Took some serious cash we were saving to build a house in 2020 and went in micro. It paid off handsomely and I sold much of it at a strong profit in 2020…$600 plus an ounce. (That made me sweat for awhile).
Outside of what it takes to run our homes (we rent out one) and a small emergency fund we are out of the banks 98%. I think they all are standing on thin ice, the sun is shining, and they are jumping up and down.
Many pundits think a Credit Freeze is coming…Bill Bonner was beating that drum for years, now Bill Holter is loudly sounding that warning. Been prepping for that for years.
As far as timing goes, I was invested in DuPont stock for a couple of years. It did OK, but I was seeing what I thought were better investments, so I sold it all.
Anyway, about two months later, it split two for one, and within a year was back up to it’s pre-split price. Had I only waited two more months…
The lesson I learned was, don’t follow stocks you just sold. They are behind you, and looking back won’t take you there.
From what I’ve been reading, energy companies (other than “Green Energy” companies) have been undergoing a credit freeze since the Biden regime was installed.

I could never figure out how F Troops boasting about paying national debt or whatever for 50 cents on the dollar never materialized. 🤔 I’d bet ole F Troop and company did “gain” much however In private life taking advantage of the poor slobs that “lost it all” to vultures.

I started getting nervous and skeptical after the Korean “Conflict” was “settled” by giving half of Korea to the Communists and their Russian installed puppet government, and even more nervous when the “Great Society” and the Vietnam “War” started up in tandem.
