Ontario – After fiercely fighting for 8 months against cancer, Cash Paul George McMillan passed away at home surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 17th 2022 at the age of 15. He was a thoughtful, moral, and gentle-natured young man. He approached his fight with quiet determination, and at times with his quirky sense of humour. Cash had his army behind him led by his parents, the oncologist team at McMaster Children’s Hospital and all his close family and friends. Cancer may have claimed his life, but he kept his soul true to the last breath. He will be profoundly missed by his loving parents, his dear sister and by his proud grandparents.

Alisha spent much of her life residing in the Portage la Prairie area, she attended Yellowquill School during her younger years and most recently attended Portage Collegiate for high school. Alisha was known for being fun, having a great sense of humor, and being a loveable person with no fears. Growing up Alisha enjoyed Brownies, 4H Club, Hip-Hop dance classes, and attending Diabetes Camp each summer. Alisha showed great enjoyment listening to music, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with those she loved. She was a social person who loved meeting people wherever she went, she would make people feel valued and loved. Alisha was always able to make others laugh or smile through her clever remarks and conversations. Her ambitions as she neared adulthood included pursuing counselling type work to help youth who may have had similar experiences as herself, she showed great ability and enjoyment working with both children and seniors. She is survived by her siblings, mother, father as well as her grandmother. Alisha’s connection to her extended family, including their extended family, will be forever cherished.

She loved animals, and had several close to her heart at home. Family was very important to Skyler, and it showed with her kind and thoughtful gestures to them. Kai was born on June 25, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Kai gave us a lifetime of love in his short seven weeks with us. He was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. Kai was just beginning to notice the world around him with his big dark blue eyes. His mom and dad will miss Aunt saying, “ bring the baby down so we can hold him,” every morning and cousin insisting she go to Kai’s room to see him and wrap her arms around him if just for a quick kiss. I am in Italy. US citizen. Shots are ‘obbligatorio’, ie-mandatory, for citizens (not me) and residents (like me). I have yet to get one; guess I forgot. When asked, going into a hospital, if I’ve been vaxxxxed (one ‘x’ = one jab: I think they’re up to four nowadays, though I quit paying any attention to that a long time ago), I used to (and still do) tell them “Non mai” (“never”) and they still let me in. They kept my wife out because her ‘jabs’ had politically-expired the very night beforehand, but they let me in, no probs. So, let me see, “it’s all about health”, right? I told them to stuff it and walked out with my wife.
Here’s what I think, as an ‘outside observer’ (ie- non-voter, here), though I’ve lived here for five years.
The Italians today are a fearful lot, mostly afraid of offending anyone (at all!). When the govt told them to get jabbed, they all asked where the line started. NOT KIDDING!!! I’m an American, with DEEP distrust of my govt (and any others, including theirs), so I declined in words that probably wouldn’t pass the online censor.
In my opinion, this comes from the Italians being on the wrong side of WW II, and from their failed attempts at empire-building in Africa between the wars. There’s an ingrown, and fairly recent, guilt-trip about everything, it seems to me. Hence the failure to do anything at all about the African ‘immigration problem’. And it is a problem here, just like our southern ‘border’.
Fortunately for me, an American, I have no hesitation over offending anyone, though, truth to tell, most of my ‘offenses’ are mostly raised by the class of professionally-offended persons, of which there are many here in Italy. Still and all, the ‘intent to offend’ rarely enters my mind, which I have been known to speak freely, even over here, and for which I have been called to the mat. Without success, I might add. There are none so blind as those who won’t see, and my eyesight, though maybe failing a bit in my ‘golden years’, is still 20-20 with regard to ANY govt action, be it mine or be it theirs. In fact, when arguing with communists over here, I generally start my position by stating that I trust NOTHING that my govt says, and also that I trust NOTHING that their govt says. That usually sets the tone!
Italy has residual WW II rivalries between the fascists and the communists. Currently, the communists rule. Draghi is a flat-out globalist (ie-communist) and did no favors for the Italian people. Same for Mattarella, Conti, Renzi, and the rest of them. They just by-passed the elections and nominated the successor. Sound familiar? It should, at least in the US.
Italy dearly wants to be in the Five-Eyes, though it will never happen. Hence, over here, anything worth doing was worth over-doing in attempts to please the great world leader (US). Italy relies upon the US FDA!!!! There is something seriously wrong with anyone who thinks Italy is “all for Italia”! Italy is all for the US and the globalist empire.
Even my Italian family (in-laws) insist that I should wear a mask in order to keep ‘others’ safe. So masks don’t work if one of the ‘others’ is wearing it, but it will work (for them) if I wear one. ??? Neither, apparently, do the vaxxxxes work, or I wouldn’t need a mask at all. And even though my in-laws are all masked and multiple-vaxxxxed. ??? I’m missing something here.
It’s been hot-as-hell over here recently (No, mankind had nothing to do with the heat; spare me, please), and I still see people wearing masks while walking outside. And while driving alone. In this world there are still things that amaze me, and which I will NEVER understand.
So. Still no jabs for me, in spite of being ‘obbligatorio’ here, and ain’t gettin’ one anytime soon. Just how it is. I’m an American, and we do things differently. OK, so only HALF of us do things differently. Alas. Follow Nancy Reagan’s advice: “Just say NO!”.
And, by the way, Canada ain’t looking so hot either, from my outsider’s view, but I lack substance to comment on Canada. But Canadian ‘optics’ ain’t so good on the international stage, leastwise not to me.

Italy is still communist, but at least the cost-of-living is far, far cheaper than CA. And no property tax! I always predicted that mask mandates in summertime would never fly because Italian houses are concrete, and thus very hot in summertime, so the Italians all go outside to the piazzas and cafes. Not surprisingly, mask mandates were ‘lifted’ for summertime, both this year and last! If they insist upon me getting jabbed (next time will be the first time), then I’m gone; I’ll leave the country before submitting to ANY govt mandate over my personal rights with which I disagree.
And yes, in my opinion (I no longer work and had (and still have) PLENTY of time for research during those lockdowns!), every bit of it was planned, and, what’s more, INTENTIONAL. Both of which are unpardonable. Italy needlessly killed a LOT of people, for no reason other than political blindness.
The ONLY cure will be ‘Walls and Ropes’. Figure it out.
