I lost a (childless) Pakistani friend, someone I had known for a decade almost, over this argument.
He owns a small business, and when the CONVID came knocking, he got himself shot up and insisted on his employees to do the same, or be fired. One of his employees was a 19-year-old girl (not that it matters — OK it matters — she was/is White), who was 8 months pregnant at the time.
I asked him why he would do such a thing; he replied, “I don’t care, if they want to kill me, they can. I’m too old to fight them anymore (he’s 56 now).”
“Yeah, but what about that girl and her unborn child, don’t you think they deserve a chance to live at least as long as us?” I asked, exasperatedly.
“Man, I’m doing them a favor,” he responded. “They’re going to kill us all soon. What does it matter?”
I haven’t talked to him since. I don’t know, or care, if he’s dead or alive right now. Any business owners who kowtowed to the party line and mandated the same for his employees is dead to me anyway. Especially those who don’t care about pregnant women.
And that’s the way we have to do it. I have had no problem or consternation about dropping friends or family members.
I can’t even be in the same room with someone who isn’t on the same page. You can’t get them to see the light so all it does is make my blood pressure go up. It’s so much nicer to talk to like minded people.

this nation lead the charge and, ultimately, hanged nazi leaders for their Crimes Against Humanity, one such crime being the forcible injection of experimental agents into human beings without their consent. well now: WHAT SHALL WE DO WITH OUR LEADERS WHO COPIED THE NAZIS IN THIS CURRENT CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY FOR WHICH WE HANGED THE NAZIS??!!
