People do/behave what they are. That “extends” (seemingly) to all the seeming menu selections on offer: most of those “offers” don’t fit a given puzzle-piece person & are never, & will never be, “selected.”

“Free to choose” is the fatal conceit that Hayek actually wrote about. The errors of socialism is just one symptom in that fatality. Nobody gets out alive, & only a few get being alive.
