STOP PRESS: Digital IDs have been on HMG’s agenda for decades. Now the despot, Tony Blair, a WEF acolyte, continues to press for its imminent introduction. The reason ‘George Soros & Coterie’ have initiated uncontrolled migration is to drive their agenda against the vast majority of Brits who want nothing to do with Digital IDs. Of course the Banksters can’t implement their CBDCs without them! QED. What does this look like in China? A 4 min Video explains all:
BRITAIN’S GOSSIP CAFE: ‘Marmite Musk’ (you love him or hate him). My good friend Kent (somewhere in USA) sent me this wonderful 9 minute video of Twitter being trolled and the media sucking it up! You can’t make this up – have a good laugh – it’s good for your health:
IMPORTANT MESSAGES for Rishi Sunak & Jeremy Hunt as they prepare the Autumn Budget – from The Daily Mail today: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11418701/ANDREW-NEIL-Rishi-Sunak-Jeremy-Hunt-CLOBBER-middle-classes-never-before.html
BUT the BoE did not mince its words: “The Bank of England has warned the UK is facing its longest recession since records began, as it raised interest rates by the most in 33 years. It warned the UK would face a “very challenging” two-year slump with unemployment nearly doubling by 2025″
HOWEVER – Does the BoE know what they are predicting? “A recession is a normal part of the business cycle that generally occurs when GDP contracts for at least two quarters. A depression, on the other hand, is an extreme fall in economic activity that lasts for years, rather than just several quarters.” BUT I have already predicted the coming depression 10 years ago – see my Chapter 13 linked at the end of this Letter.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: A Commenter offered this wisdom – ARE YOU AWAKE? It is said that soon after his enlightenment the Buddha passed a man on the road that was struck by the Buddha’s extraordinary radiance and peaceful presence. The man stopped and asked:
“My friend, what are you? Are you a celestial being or a god?” “No” said the Buddha “Well, then, are you some kind of magician or wizard?” Again the Buddha answered, “No”. “Are you a man?” No! ““Well, my friend, then what are you?” The Buddha replied “I am awake”
So, the great question is: “are YOU awake?” “Constitutional attorney and author John W. Whitehead is founder and president of The Rutherford Institute. His book Battlefield America: The War on the American People (Select Books, 2015) is available online at www.amazon.com Whitehead can be contacted at [email protected]“. He says:
“While you sleep what most Americans perceive as life in America—privileged, progressive and free—is a far cry from reality, where economic inequality is growing, real agendas and real power are buried beneath layers of Orwellian doublespeak and corporate obfuscation, and ‘freedom,’ such that it is, is meted out in small, legalistic doses by militarized police and federal agents armed to the teeth.” All is not as it seems.
“Monsters with human faces walk among us. Many of them work for the US & UK governments. When viewed through Nada’s Hoffman lenses, some of the other hidden messages being drummed into the people’s subconscious include: NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT, CONFORM, SUBMIT, STAY ASLEEP, BUY, WATCH TV, NO IMAGINATION, and DO NOT QUESTION AUTHORITY.
This indoctrination campaign engineered by the elite in the film ‘They Live’ is painfully familiar to anyone who has studied the decline of American [and British] culture.” Read on and be woken up: https://off-guardian.org/2022/10/29/john-carpenter-authoritarian-monsters-dictatorship-in-disguise/
LOTS OF BREAKING NEWS: The big news this week is of course the American Midterm elections. So what’s happened? The GOP ‘Red Wave’ has failed – perhaps this is why – ZeroHedge has a good explanation: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/conservative-candidates-take-note-desantis-dominated-florida-these-reasons
BUT this is not all: UK GDP is reported to have declined by 0.2%, indicating a recession (stagflation) for the next few years, but we know this is not a good guide to prosperity for Britain. Also US Inflation surprised on the downside as the dollar slides and stocks rally in New York on hopes that the Federal Reserve will slow its interest rate rises. Wall Street surged and dollar tumbled on Thursday as the inflation rate dropped to annualised 7.7% – just a little lower but encouraging that perhaps the peak this cycle might have been reached in the US at least.
AND let’s not forget the disaster that is Matt Hancock, as he retreats to his new jungle home and plays out his Tarzan emoji This headline tells it all: “‘Midazolam Matt’ Hancock orchestrated the Genocide of the Elderly & Vulnerable & we can prove it; He should be in Prison, not in the Jungle on National TV” https://expose-news.com/2022/11/11/midzolam-matt-genocide-elderly-prison-not-jungle/
HOWEVER there’s more: Looming labour discontent all round in Britain is returning us to country-wide strikes as erupted in the winter of 1978 when James Callaghan’s Labour government tried to impose wage limits in the face of rising inflation. That so-called ‘Winter of Discontent’ ultimately helped usher Margaret Thatcher into power. Now, as a similar crisis looms, the Conservative Party has accused unions of “shamefully trying to engineer a ‘Christmas of Discontent” – an outcome that might prove to be a gift to the Labour Party? Here are the details: https://www.theweek.co.uk/news/uk-news/958481/winter-strikes-is-the-uk-facing-a-christmas-of-discontent
FINALLY – Elon Musk provides us with some spoof laughs this week as the FTX crypto platform dissolves into nothing: Twitter Speaks
SHOCKING REVELATIONS – UK Biolabs are working on GOF Bioweapons at Imperial College, London with a team of psychologically disturbed experimental ‘scientists’ (aka Dr Mengele types – the Angel of Death) led by Professor Wendy Barclay, a member of SAGE, the panel that guided No10 through the Covid pandemic, was the lead author of the project and Dr Thomas Peacock was also involved. Mark these people well. HMG is funding this work and must be held to account. These people need to be put out of business quickly before they destroy God’s work beyond redemption.
The Daily Mail has a detailed analysis describing how dangerous and irresponsible these toxic experiments are: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11357387/UK-scientists-mutant-Covid-strains.html BUT a word or two of guidance given to us by Jesus on how to handle this horrible atrocity.
What did Jesus say? Upon being nailed to the cross (Roman style), Jesus prayed: “Father, forgive them.” Forgive whom? We find a clue in the words that follow: “They do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:33, 34)
BUT there’s little hope of HMG rising to its fundamental responsibilities given the parlous state of Great Britain today. MPs in Parliament need to start doing their jobs effectively. https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/the-dictatorial-dreadful-state-were-in/
SOUTH AFRICA IS THE CANARY IN THE COALMINE: Observations by Richard Poplak: “With all of this in mind, along with my colleague Diana Neille, I decided to undertake a road trip through post-meltdown South Africa, and see if, in the wreckage, we couldn’t pinpoint the causes of our own insanity. And, in the process, discover clues for why the entire world seems to be losing its collective mind.
The apartheid state, under the National Party, ran a deeply corrupt system of elite capture that had incalculable ties to business interests. South African race-based fascism was collaboration between corporate South Africa and the regime. But for the purposes of this exercise, we’re focusing on the rise and devolution of a democratic project. Once State Capture becomes the norm, once it has hollowed out law enforcement and intelligence services, it has to be supported by some kind of system to maintain itself. Ergo, point six: organised crime; which quickly blooms into its only logical and time-tested manifestation: all-out gang warfare, which in this case resulted in a massive, country-changing social uprising – one that hasn’t really ended – but simmers beneath the surface.
This construction details the South African experience. It’s our view that a version of this seven-point programme threatens to undermine virtually every other attempt at liberal democracy on the planet, too. The gang warfare scenario can unfold in many different ways in many different places. But across the world, corruption and kleptocracy have become increasingly weaponised. They’ve fuelled the rise of populist nationalist movements, like the BJP in India, and illiberal forces that are gaining power in Brazil, Turkey, Hungary and the United States
They’ve also been declared the most profound threats to democratic governance and national security in the 21st century, by more than 100 government leaders, multilateral institutions and civil society organisations. After all, to quote the philosopher and mystic Simone Weil, from her monograph: ‘On the Abolition of Political Parties’, “The ultimate goal of any political party is its own growth, without limit.” In South Africa, that truism is proved every day. Into the vacuum step the men with the guns.
As the ANC hurtles toward its 55th electoral conference in December of this year, it’s difficult to find anyone who gives a rat’s ass about the party, very much including most people in the party. It has shattered into a zillion self-interested pieces; its decline is obvious for all to see. The Highwaymen, however, are still determined to steal. So what comes next?
Well, in the ruins of post-uprising South Africa, there is much to see, but mostly charred buildings. They all tell the same story: democracy is in crisis. So what follows is a true crime podcast. It’s the story of the murder of a country. And yours might be next.” https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2022-10-26-meet-the-highwaymen-stealing-your-democracy
If any of this sounds familiar to my British audience, then take notice that the ‘Mother of Democracy’ is not immune to social collapse if the puppets in charge today get it a little bit wrong. I believe we are at a dangerous crossroads and the path to the future is not yet written in stone.
I DON’T OFTEN COMMENT on geopolitical manoeuvres because they are generally of little consequence because they are merely international posturing. They are sending messages to the other side – it’s a game they call ‘diplomacy’. Well, it keeps the egotistical elites busy thinking that they are ruling the world when really the Banksters are hiding behind the curtain pulling the strings.
Let’s have a look at the most recent positioning. For 40 years the US has had a ‘MAD’ policy [Mutual Assured Destruction]. This has enabled a doctrine of military strategy and national security policy which posits that a full-scale use of nuclear weapons by an attacker on a nuclear-armed defender with second-strike capabilities would cause the complete annihilation of both the attacker and the defender.
This enabled the principle protagonists to maintain a ‘Mexican Stand-off ‘ by claiming a nuclear strike only when the other side have invoked a launch. This policy has kept us safe for the following generations who have benefited from abundance extraordinaire without the fear of total annihilation demonstrated by JFK’s ultimatum to the Russian ships carrying nuclear missiles to Cuba in 1962 – which of course I experienced as a naïve teenager.
NOW, Biden, in all his imperial glory, has changed all this by announcing a change in this long-standing policy. The United States will be facing two major nuclear-armed powers in Russia and China within the next decade, according to the Biden administration. The document continued: “The United States will not allow Russia, or any power, to achieve its objectives through using, or threatening to use, nuclear weapons.” China, meanwhile, was described by Biden as “the only competitor with both the intent to reshape the international order and, increasingly, the economic, diplomatic, military and technological power to advance that objective”. A-future-nuclear-face-off-between-the-us-russia-and-china
In other words the US knows that they are losing their long-standing hegemony of global control. A tiger cornered is a formidable assailant. I would recommend that you have a PLAN ‘B’: https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/progressing-plan-b-a-quarterly-review?s=w
INFLATION WATCH: Last week – as I write Part 2 of my book – I speculated on the consequences of the trucks ceasing to run. That was extreme but I used it as an example to emphasise how vulnerable our 21st century global supply-chain economy is to the vagaries of the market, not oil per se, but its primary derivative, diesel, produced by a process known as ‘cracking’. Our whole life-style is dependent on this one crucial commodity. The trucks don’t have to stop, but merely slow down, to severely disrupt our return to ‘normality’; whatever that is.
The key factor in determining the price of diesel is the ‘crack spread’. “In the petroleum industry, refinery executives are most concerned about hedging the difference between their input costs and output prices. Refiners’ profits are tied directly to the spread, or difference, between the price of crude oil and the prices of refined products — gasoline and distillates, (aka diesel and jet fuel).
It is called ‘crack spread’ due to the process that “cracks” crude oil into its major refined products: https://www.cmegroup.com/education/articles-and-reports/introduction-to-crack-spreads.html This is why diesel prices are so high – yeah, it’s the markets don’t you know? And also maybe Mr Biden et al interfering where they are not invited – read and learn how distorted this vital process really is in our dystopian 21st century.
SURVIVAL MONITOR: Next Thursday will reveal the Autumn Statement (aka Medium Term Fiscal Plan – MTFP). There has been much speculation about the probable tax, services and welfare ‘benefit’ changes to accommodate the mega-hole in Britain’s fiscal budget. Liam Halligan at GB News speculates using his wealth of decades’ experience – 4 mins worth:
You can bet that Joe Public is going to pay yet again for the errors, missteps and blatant corruption exposed by the half trillion GBP of Covid extreme measurers over the 2020-22 years. At a minimum at least 50 billion of sheer waste occurred during that time through fraud, mismanagement and bureaucratic nonsense like ‘Track & Trace – 35 billion for a crap NHS system that didn’t work! Noddy and Larry-the-Lamb in my childhood Toyland could have done better than these clowns in their circus they call a government.
THE NARRATIVE BATTLE: Eric Peters, a stunningly successful observer at my Alma Mater: https://www.theburningplatform.com/ has some comments about ‘the cure’:
“Curiously, this carries no weight with the same people who – before the “cure” came along – urged the most extreme measures to stymie the slightest risk of the thing the “cure” supposedly . . ‘cured’. People who weren’t ‘symptomatic’ were assumed to be sick – and treated accordingly. Businesses forced to stop doing business (well, some of them; the ones not big enough to buy an indulgence to remain open) and people forced to stay away from other people even if those people wanted to be with other people. Including elderly relatives, locked-up in prisons for the elderly – where thousands of them died, alone. Nothing was too extreme to address a risk so extreme that 99-something percent of the not-elderly/not-unhealthy population wasn’t seriously threatened by it.
Because granny might die! Now, young people are dying of things that – for the most part – only old people used to die of. There is an admitted-to risk of something nearly as bad arising from the supposed “cure” – that being serious and often permanent debility arising from premature and artificially induced heart problems in people who ought not to have to worry about such things for decades to come – but whose young lives have been stunted and forever limited by an old-age debility they wouldn’t have developed at a young age, were it not for the “cure.:” https://www.theburningplatform.com/2022/10/30/diaper-report-42/ You can’t make this up!

Peter, it would be interesting to us here in the States to hear your anecdotal experiences of what is happening in the UK… We see economic data, but do not ever get to hear real life experiences…..
Yes, I get your drift Jdog and a very reasonable request. The problem here in Bruton (pop 3,000) is, we are in a backwater, deep in rural Somerset with millionaire neighbours and big-shot London art dealers, BBC celebs and even George Osbourne living up the High Street. So my anecdotes would only confirm that everything is hunky dory! Here’s our town council site to give you a feel for it: https://brutontowncouncil.gov.uk/
AND here’s a recent report detailing what I have said: https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/somerset-news/visit-somerset-town-rich-famous-6713484
AND here’s another review from late last year: https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/somerset-news/visit-trendiest-town-somerset-find-6353091
Walking down the High Street, we see Porsche, Aston Martin, RR, Bentley, Ferrari etc in amongst 15 year old bangers. The shops are all up-market, the restaurants are Michelin ** and the B&Bs ask around £250/night although there are cheaper ones for the peasants. We have a main-line railway station – 1 hr to London – so there are many commuters. We have rich farmers, and cheese making on a grand scale (the ubiquitous Cheddar) in the hinterland.
Here are some statistics on wealth in Somerset :http://www.somersetintelligence.org.uk/somerset-facts-and-figures/
AND in Britain as a whole: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/personalandhouseholdfinances/incomeandwealth/bulletins/totalwealthingreatbritain/april2018tomarch2020
I spoke the other day with a lady delivering food parcels to unknown and hidden recipients. She told me she has 60 customers and they are invisible – no homeless to be seen. |Crime is negligible, police are never seen, and the locals take care of the odd vagrant. We have over 250 SME’s in the immediate area – jobs are plentiful – there is no unemployment. We need to go to the deprived town, Yeovil some 18 miles away and even then you wouldn’t notice the implied poverty. I guess the impoverished ‘gangland’ areas of Bristol, Manchester, and London (pop total 12.5m = 20% UK pop) are the places to really judge the decline of Britain but needless to say we avoid them like the plague.
Hope this helps Jdog, but please ask questions – always pleased to put the macro into a local context. Here’s my local pub (est 1209) – it’s an old coaching inn on the old road to London – and is our social club too. The posh lot don’t come in – locals only with a sports bar too.
Cheers – I’ll have a pint for TBPers! AP
WEF boy Musk will use real-ID user verification on Twitter, ostensibly to screen out bots, to gather a database on users. Watch.
No doubt Anon – he’s in the Big Club and we ain’t.
And he’s down with WEF/Davos.
It’ll happen. Shooting fish in a barrel.
Nice one Anon thank you – well found
She’s good enough for YouTube to have removed her vids and to monetize her before. Canada gal.
Oops. I meant, refused to monetize her.
Musk is obviously attempting to merge his Spacex deploying Starlink satellites with his own internet, with his own social media, and is going to go after the online payment business, and is going after the video market held by Youtube. Expect a Musk cell phone of some sort to follow. I believe he is months away from a complete One Stop Shop for comms. Musk will be Apple, Google, PayPal, Facebook under one roof with one man in control.
Yep – good call a clever bloke IMHO. I know his father, Errol.

Sorry about the redundant posts. No idea how. There have been many posting glitches.
No worries Anon – I suffer similar all the time! 🙂
The communist coup has defeated democracy again; I mistakenly thought the 2022 election Result would be overwhelmingly Republican like 2016 when Trump beat Harpy and the democrat machine; but 2022 was a repeat of 2020: the vote was a red Wave , the official Result counting the illegal democrat ballots in Blue Cities swamped the legal votes. Since there is no way to audit an America election of secret ballots once they are cast and in the system, We The People are screwed. Right after the 2020 stolen election, Florida Gov DeSantis fired several crooked Supervisors of Elections, created an Election Police Force, and our Legislators tightened voting laws. The 2022 Red Wave shows in Florida where Republicans took every state office and only about 10% of counties went Blue. Nationally the democrats have destroyed the American democracy and forced We The People to revert to the Declaration of Independence to deal with this communist coup’s tyranny. Of course we can’t say anything publicly but I believe FJB’s policies will make things ten times worse and the Left will touch off the conflict. PS: The Tonga Volcano Jan2022 ejected more dust into the Stratosphere than Pinatubo in 1991 which lowered northern Hemisphere temperatures several degrees 1992-93. The governments have censored the Tonga Volcano data since Mar2022 but independent scientist think the southern hemisphere growth zones will be reduced by one during 2023-26. The northern hemisphere will be effected but I don’t know by how much. This is on top of the reduced temperatures and rain caused by the Eddy Minimum (GSM 2000-2100e). Prepare for an even colder Winter, smaller grain harvest than you already were, store more food and make your garden bigger.
I saw the stock market rally last Friday and everyone breathing a sigh of relief as though they didn’t know the Mississippi River is bone dry with barges stuck on the bottom.
How good can that be for the economy?
You are a wealth of information rhs jr – thank you for the tip – I can’t find a reference to a nuclear winter:
https://www.preventionweb.net/news/wave-created-tonga-volcano-eruption-reached-90-metres-nine-times-taller-2011-japan-tsunami#:~:text=The%20initial%20tsunami%20wave%20created,tsunami%2C%20new%20research%20has%20found.
BUT I have found a research paper indicating this conclusion:
“The reduction of a terrestrial temperature during the next 30 years can have important implications for different parts of the planet on growing vegetation, agriculture, food supplies, and heating needs in both Northern and Southern hemispheres. This global cooling during the upcoming grand solar minimum 1 (2020–2053) can offset for three decades any signs of global warming and would require inter-government efforts to tackle problems with heat and food supplies for the whole population of the Earth.”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7575229/
So, the BS climate change is a crock of shit and we are going into a long cooling period. I am too old to worry about it but I guess my children should know! Well done for drawing my attention to this possible major change in earth’s climate; it sounds convincing from my limited knowledge of geophysics.
If the Eddy Minimum is like the Dalton Minimum (about 1800-1825) and the Maunder Minimum (about 1650-1700), it will much more than just offset any supposed “global warming” . The Tonga Volcano will probably not be like the one about 1816 that wiped out a summer, but GSMs usually do produce a very big volcano somewhere.
Peter, I looked it up. Tambora blew 1815 (Dalton Minimum) and dropped N. hem. temps. 1 degree which wiped out Europe’s 1816 summer. Tonga blew 2022 (Eddy Min) and might drop S. Hem. temps 2 degrees for 2 summers (based on a comparison to Pinatubo). I can’t guess how much Tonga will effect the N. Hem. except we will be slightly cooler. These climate changes dwarf the supposed CO2 climate changes; TPTB need to all fly to some place and demand an end to all volcanos which are damaging crops and rainfall.
That social credit thing is amazingly depressing. What a way to live. What’s so horrifying is how many Chinese are content to live like this. It’s like being an animal in a cage begging for food.
I have readers in China and I must say it is difficult for a westerner to understand the eastern mind – they are indeed inscrutable but very intelligent and as far as I can discern very practical, with a devotion to the concept of ‘community’ and ‘cooperation’ as opposed to our belief in ‘individualism’ and ‘competition’. It certainly is a revelation for me as I have exchanged ideas over the years and learned so many new things, especially about the amazing history of the ancient Chinese civilisation.
I marvel at the progress China has made in rising to a major influence in the world in such a short time and now challenging the one-world order of America which has held for 75 years. Time for a change methinks.
The only achievements communism has brought them is money; for the people at the top. All the great artistic, cultural and scientific achievements came before communism in China. Without independent thinking there is no intellectual or social progress. It will be the same here. America’s greatness is a distant memory at this point. From here on out the culture will just keep sliding into nothingness. That’s how it is when people are afraid to speak, challenge or critically think. This is why nothing good comes from North Korea.
You do make some excellent points Scary – thank you. it is of course the eternal argument – what form of government works modestly effectively? My contention is that mega- populations will always fail because of many reasons – span of control being just one. I look to smaller countries like Iceland for guidance (pop 340k). China will fail eventually as history tells us. I wrote this yesterday in reply to one of my readers on Substack:
https://browntsunami.substack.com/p/why-do-we-not-yet-have-a-critical/comment/10450026
You seem to wish for an alternative centralised replacement for the existing corrupted centralised establishment we have today – mega-centralisation doesn’t work – it always gets corrupted to a final point of failure – history is ripe with examples and not one has succeeded because human nature is constant and the outcome is predictable.
My answer is ‘localised communities’ which will emerge naturally from the shipwreck that is our global financial system as it inevitably fails in the coming years. The WEF proposed elite replacement is going ahead anyway and cannot be resisted – the forces against the 99% are too great. In fact it’s what the oligarchs crave – an opportunity to finally crush the plebs into slavery. I wrote about this recently:
https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/the-financial-jigsaw-part-2-special-36e?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email
My book, ‘The financial Jigsaw Part 1’ describes the global financial system and explains how and why it is collapsing which is becoming common knowledge as events dictate. I am writing Part 2 now and publishing relevant sections as I go – a la Charles Dickens. https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/the-financial-jigsaw-part-2-localisation?s=w
My solution is to side-step the WEF by opting out because their weak link in the chain is their need for compliance – and we don’t have any requirement to comply – we can create our own off-grid local communities and cooperate within a network as far and wide as transport and communications allow. This paradigm conforms to the requirements of a sustainable complex adaptive system which is of course the nature of our current global economy.
There are many options for the design of local economies which will no doubt be experimented with as our present systems decline. I am proposing the African option of UBUNTU described here: https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/progressing-plan-b-a-quarterly-review?s=w
Our local community here in a village deep in rural SW England is already set up and thriving – we have no need for ‘money’ as such but of course we will have local exchange systems based on promissory notes and bills of exchange as our centralised cash systems are withdrawn in favour of CBDCs. This book explains how it worked in 1754 before local banks were created:
As with Part – Part 2 is my gift to my children, my last legacy, as they have already had whatever material inheritance was in my power – I am 78 next month. I am reminded of the wisdom of these words:
“Nations can succumb to pride and a wrong view of wealth—and so can individuals. Jesus gave a parable that showed how subtle this snare can be. He spoke of a rich man whose fields produced very well. Delighted, the man planned to build larger storehouses for his produce and happily looked forward to a long life of comfort. But this did not happen. God said to him: “Unreasonable one, this night they are demanding your soul from you. Who, then, is to have the things you stored up?” Yes, the man died, and his wealth availed him nothing.—Luke 12:16-20.”
