R.I.P. Dan McCafferty, lead singer of Nazareth died last week,me favorite song by them:

I never saw them live, though many of their brethren of the time did.

Most excellent tune! My favorite tune of theirs is Fallen Angel from the Malice in Wonderland album.

Wore out my cassette copy of the album “Hair of the Dog” before the end of 1976. Nazareth is my second-favorite Scottish band… The Sensational Alex Harvey Band would be my fave. The Scots have given us some really great music through the decades.

Without Soundgarden there would have never been Pearl Jam. PJ is just too whiny and political for my taste. But, if you like them good on you.

I saw them at Lollapalooza 2 and they put on a decent show. I liked Soundgarden and Ministry much more that day.

In the 90s, AAFES had a credit program. I was a young army MP. I bought a new stereo stack and speakers and had Pearl Jam “ten”. I used to bring various young floozies back to my barracks room and Pearl Jam was my sex soundtrack lol. I even burned incense in my barracks room lol! The good old days
