In 1995, dropping a resume into basket during a job fair earned me an interview with FBI CI agents. One of the comments made during the first interview earned me a second interview, a psych eval, and a polygraph test – and it was made in reference to Ted Kaczynski, his beliefs, and methods.
Mind you, this was a few years before a paranoid FBI in CYA mode managed to find Robert Hannsen.
You should have seen my interviewer’s faces. They were incredulous ANYONE could’ve come up with such “theories”, let alone reference a terrorist.
