I’m sorry that I was not able to play today. The day before yesterday I underwent my second carotid endarterectomy in the last six weeks. The first one back in October went extremely well. I was out the next day and was able to do Friday Fail with no problems. This time I did not fare as well in post OP and ICU, but with the help of some excellent nurses and the Lord, I was able to fight back from a BP of 70/30 and a sustained heartbeat of 37. In an effort to further assist me they hooked me up to a Dopamine drip. I’ve never had Dopamine. Turns out that I am deathly allergic to it, and it caused quite the scene in ICU. Anyway, I survived, but spent the greater part of today in bed with a huge neck. I apologize. I would have been here for it if I could have been. I was very pleased to turn on TBP this evening and see what a GREAT job you all did. I thank you, and I know Jim Quinn thanks you. It was a FANTASTIC FRIDAY FAIL. Seeing it made me feel much better, as I felt bad for not being able to contribute.
