Brian- I snickered also. I’m guessing he never went grocery shopping in France or most of Europe either. Most of the time there are baskets of eggs on the shelf in my daughters garage .Just don’t wash them and they are good for a couple months. Safer than the Covid clot shots by a factor of one million. 🙂
I leave my eggs out on the counter, the whole refrigerated egg thing is just a way to keep them in a safe place.
Did you know that if you store eggs in salt they will stay edible indefinitely? We’re talking hundreds or thousands of years…so I’ve been told.
I eat them much faster than that.
Ummmm …. EVERY web site I checked says eggs stored in salt are good for one month to one year, max.
But, if you find a thousand year old egg, please eat it, and let us know how that worked out for ya.

Farm fresh eggs or processed factory eggs?
The average hourly wage in Russia is $8.09 (USD), so the meat, bread, milk and mushrooms were close to an hour of pay. You could most likely do the same in the US. That said, if the Ruskies have real beef and organically grown fruits and vegetables /bread when Klaus & Co. have us living on crickets and worms…. I’m moving to Russia.
Actually Russia has been encouraging people to move to Russia by offering free acreage to farm. They’ve been encouraging their populous to grow gardens and be more self sufficient.
