On War and Wars

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

“When we see the few truth-tellers who are the stars of their organizations jettisoned – Tucker Carlson from Fox News, Matt Taibbi from Rolling Stone, Glenn Greenwald from The Intercept, James O’Keefe from Project Veritas… we must face the fact that there is an organized conspiracy to suppress truth.”Paul Craig Roberts

Real Life Church: Ankeny, IA > Abortion and the Suppression of Truth

The weird part the news media isn’t telling you about World War Three is that America’s main enemy in this struggle is the US Government itself. America is looking like that crazy person on the street, punching himself in the head. How else do you explain this epic act of national self-destruction?

The “Joe Biden” regime is “standing up for our democracy” by trying to silence all and any public speech about what it does in the world and how it treats its own citizens. Meanwhile, the entire scaffold of American life crumbles and you are supposed to not notice it’s happening. The funny part is that the Democratic Party thinks this is an election strategy. The funniest part of the funny part is that we bother holding elections at all.

You understand, “Joe Biden” is only pretending to run for president again, in the same way that he only pretended to be president the past two years. Are we to believe, for instance, that the old zombie has become a fervent Maoist? Or that he follows any known structured political philosophy at all, other than cashing checks that favor-seekers from all nations send his way? “Joe Biden” is pretending to run — no matter how preposterous it seems — because his handlers know that only a titanic pretense of political strength can stave off the reveal of his family’s awesome criminality and the fall of everyone hitched to that wagon.

So much for the funny stuff. Things are getting to the point where we stop laughing. It’s only a question now of how the calamity rolls out. There are so many more parts to it and they are all out-of-hand in the most disastrous way. The Ukraine project is a big part. It was prodigiously stupid to provoke a war there and the side we backed, the Nazi-ish Zelensky regime, has already lost. You just don’t know it because the American news business is a joke on the American public. It reports nothing honestly.

Ukraine is the last in a string of hapless military adventures that has exhausted America’s credibility in the world, especially as regards our military superiority. (Think: Russia’s Kinzhal hypersonic missile.) There will be many unexpected consequences of that failure. One will be the crack-up of NATO, which has only been a false front for American military power. Germany couldn’t fight its way out of a duffle bag with what it’s got, and it is supposedly Europe’s leading economic power. The sad truth is that it will stop being any kind of power without the cheap Russian Natgas it was running on, and later this year Germany will be in a panic to try and restore its horribly damaged trade relations with Russia to get that natgas. Since NATO’s essential mission is to oppose Russia on everything, that will be the end of NATO. Europe will return to what it has always been: a region of squabbling national interests. Let’s hope Europe does not become again the slaughterhouse it was in the last century.

The failure of the Ukraine project could easily stimulate a collapse in Europe’s banking system, which would instantly spread to America’s banking system as obligations dissolve and payments stop. The net effect of all that will be the vanishing of a whole lot of capital, including the money in bank accounts, the money invested in stocks and bonds, the money lodged in pension plans, and the money controlled by insurance companies. As I’ve mentioned before — it’s worth repeating — you can go broke two ways: you can have no money, or you can have money that’s worthless. We’ve been steadily following the latter path through the “Joe Biden” years, but we’re close to simply not having money at all. Being broke will get Americans’ attention. And the first place they’ll look is the party in power.

Multiple scandals have finally caught up to “Joe Biden” and are escaping the formidable suppression apparatus erected by the Deep State’s legal department. Attorney General Merrick Garland himself is now directly implicated in obstruction of justice by an IRS whistleblower. The allegation is that Mr. Garland interfered in the case against Hunter Biden in the Delaware US attorney’s office and lied about it to Congress. On top of that comes a new allegation, with hard documentary evidence (testimony by former Acting CIA Director Mike Morell), that Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan arranged, as “Biden” campaign officials in 2020, for fifty-one intel officers, including five retired CIA directors, to sign a phony letter denouncing the Hunter laptop as a Russian disinfo project, knowing it to be untrue. A case can be made for that amounting to election interference.

All that is fairly fresh news. For many months, it’s been known that Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Chair of the House Oversight Committee, has possession of bank records that show more than a hundred instances of the decanting of millions of dollars from foreign lands into various Biden family accounts. Doesn’t look good. Looks impeachable.

On top of all that, observers are reporting that more than ten thousand illegal immigrants a day will be crossing into the USA from Mexico in the weeks ahead. Alejandro Mayorkas’s Dept. of Homeland Security and Mr. Blinken’s State Department have made arrangements with international NGOs working through the UN, to systematically conduct these immigrants across the border, furnishing them with pre-cooked phony asylum documents. This week, Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) introduced legislation to allow unrestricted immigration to any person claiming to be LBGTQ. Co-sponsors of the bill include Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. How is any of this a re-election strategy?

It’s not. If these matters are not adjudicated, it will be a civil war strategy.

Long range plan.

“Once again great minds thought alike: Einstein, Gandhi, Toynbee and Camus all favored giving primacy to interests higher than those of the nation. So, finally, did many statesmen. Each world war inspired the creation of an international organization, the League of Nations in the 1920s and the United Nations in the ‘40s.” | Strobe Talbott, President Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of State, (“The Birth of the Global Nation,” Time, July 20, 1992)

“The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…

Since I read Mises tell the world that credit-fueled prosperity means an equal and opposite credit crash (40 years ago) I’ve expected a catastrophic societal crash. It really feels near-like imminent.

I expect a total societal collapse, it will be world wide and it will happen very quickly, unlike the Roman Empire collapse which took centuries, it will happen over months, perhaps a year or two. Think the collapse of the USSR, “gradually then suddenly”.
And I expect it to happen within this decade.
All the Nuevo Democrats that Biden is importing, I sort of feel sorry for them, sort of but not really. Because they would probably be better off had they stayed in their home countries. Once the collapse happens, the free shit gravy train ends, for the ones in the blue hives, they’re screwed, and for the ones in Rural America, well they’re screwed as well but for different reasons.

I don’t think it will take a year or two.

If a planned collapse, all the post-collapse mechanisms likely already in place. Bad, but orchestrated and planned bad. On a shock and awe timeline. With enough kibble to keep the herd mostly placated.

If an un-planned collapse, complete and utter chaos in 2 months or less. (when the food really, really runs out)
Shit gets very ugly on empty stomachs.

Just IMO.

I don’t think it will take a year or two either…and it is a planned collapse…but the plans of mice and human demons often go astray.

But as Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars and famines and earth quakes in some places. Food prep is uncommon common sense in 2023…big time.

Still have 125 of these from last year in the basement root cellar, in boxes wrapped in newspaper, with an apple in in each box (the decomposing apple gas stops them from budding). I have gotten 10 months out of them before it becomes time to feed any left to the chickens.

More scandals than you can shake your fist at and in the end, no one will be prosecuted. And even if they made it to a courtroom, most of the judicial system is compromised.

And the election strategy he talks about? What difference does it make? Largely honest elections are a thing of the past, part of a by-gone era.

Exactly. Because to vote, or even to be registered to vote in a flagrantly corrupt system is to give your acquiescence to the results of election because “democracy” and to furthermore give your passive acquiescence to the actions of the illegitimate regimes that claim they have the consent of the governed. Which is why the Commiserate of the USSR pushed for people to vote even though everyone knew that their elections were rigged.
The old.saying was.that if you didn’t vote you didn’t have a right to complain..Now it’s of you did vote you don’t.

The first way to give up is to stop talking about this. Just a reminder for people who have given up even on talking about it with normies. Not all of them are brain dead. It took 3% 250 years ago. I’m about to leave to meet a group of conservative friends for lunch. Most of them do not want to discuss hardly any of what is going on. They prefer to keep their heads in the sand and maybe, it will just go away. Most of them still want Trump and believe he will set things right. I think most of them believe that with the next election cycle the pendulum will swing back the other way. It seems that is the way it was, at least to some extent, many years ago but, no more. Most of us here know that there are 2 sides playing for the same team. We know that most of the politicians have sold their souls, and our country out, for nothing more than filthy lucre. The cancerous rot is pervasive on all fronts.

I keep asking myself how long can this country, existing on less than the fumes of the greatest generation can continue? Every aspect of our living is being targeted. Every institution co-opted and compromised. Government, medicine, organized religion. Is there still going to be one big, huge event that changes our monetary system and all that goes with it? Or, do we continue to slide downward, into the abyss, and die the death of 1,000 cuts?

IDK. I’m tired of it all. Being sick the last 2 weeks (finally feeling better) and then reading all the shitty news on a daily basis has had me in not such a great place. But, I’m going to pull up my big boy pants, put on my boots & jeans, and cowboy on! Because that is what we need to do!

Every institution co-opted and compromised. Government, medicine, organized religion.

IMO, organized religion is where too many believers put there focus.

Better to make our faith practices and beliefs a uniquely personal experience, finding what tools & resources work best. For YOU.

… without touting it as the CORRECT method that others ought follow, or risk missing the goal.

Therein lies some of the flaws in organized religion, besides, of course, the scandals that have dulled their luster throughout their past, and now so more than ever.

If still a faithful member of a denomination house of worship, maybe use it as a guide only, taking parts that help while declining some of the rigid unbendable rules and rituals.

The greatest generation screwed the pooch entirely on the political front in the long run. They enthusiastically embraced the imposition of the structures of administrative government now running the country into the ground. They believed. They were callously used in the depression and the war, rewarded with highways, cars, television and consumer goods and for the most part applauded and went to sleep, begetting the boomers just before entering a state of slumber.

Boomers were split, majority for status quo, minority for God only knows what, dope, free love, tune in, turn on, drop out? Then the countercultural boomers gained ascendancy and they are the figureheads run by and populating the administrative state the greatest generation so vigorously supported. The authoritarian state emanates directly from the depression and Second World War.

To be counterculture is to oppose whatever culture in which one finds oneself, it is an intractable mental condition once established. Having counterculture individuals running things goes a long way toward explaining the senselessly destructive behavior of our government(s) over the last forty or so years.

Ukraine is the last in a string of hapless military adventures that has exhausted America’s credibility in the world, especially as regards our military superiority.

Escobar: Mr. Lavrov’s New York Shuffle

“Since World War II, there have been dozens of criminal military adventures by Washington – without any attempt to gain multilateral legitimacy. Why, if there are ‘rules’ unknown to anyone? The shameful invasion of Iraq by the U.S.-led coalition in 2003 was carried out in violation of the UN Charter, as was the aggression against Libya in 2011. A gross violation of the UN Charter was U.S. interference in the affairs of post-Soviet states. ‘Color revolutions’ were organized in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, a bloody coup d’état in Kiev in February 2014, and attempts to seize power by force in Belarus in 2020. The Anglo-Saxons, who confidently led the entire West, not only justify all these criminal adventures, but also flaunt their line of ‘promoting democracy.’

How many times does Jim’s threadbare fabric of justifiable justice get resown into a patchwork of “They’ll get what they deserve!”. Somehow. Because, patchwork.

Any day now, the wagon hauling the entire FJB syndicate (including the DOJ, FBI, CIA and PTA) will bust an axel in the middle of a political desert and uncork water barrels carrying only personal pronouns.

Seroiusly? Our coddled, blame-proof ZioNazis will escort us to the end of American hegemony with nary a word of opprobrium that isn’t media-scripted. We’ll have our attention diverted, as usual, when they throw a boatload of much bigger fish on our smoking grill.

Europe WILL become a slaughterhouse – as will the USA. The USA will be to blame. We’ll spark WWIII with an outrageously improbable false flag. Nobody will be talking about anything except that dastardly Putin, who, after destroying Russia’s Nord Stream income stream, went Sampson on the Russian oligarchs, nuked Moscow, blamed Zelensky, Kinzhal’d Kiev and NATO bases into rubble and forced Xi to invade Taiwan. DD,

10 LIFELONG CRIMINALS WHO BECOME SUCCESSFUL AUTHORS

“Many fine books have been written in prison,” said Raoul Duke, in Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. And it’s true. Ghandi, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, the Marquis De Sade, and O. Henry all turned their sentences into, well, sentences.

But those guys were writers to begin with. Every person on this list started out as criminal. Not a political martyr, an intellectual, or dissident, but the sort of the person who would hold no qualms about shooting someone in the face. What’s impressive about them is not that they were able to write books; it’s that they were able to affect real change within themselves, shrug off their violent pasts, and free their minds through the power of creativity.

They do not have an election strategy because they do not need one. The election fraud machine they built leading up to the 2020 election steal is still there and probably expanded. By taking over the DOJ/FBI and many blue city DAs they were able to protect the machine. They appear to not care about RFK Jr because they are going to filter him out using the Censorship Industrial Complex. It looks bleak.

Let me know when ONE thing is actually done about this.

Nobody will be held accountable, it will all be swept under the rug. Same as it has been for my ENTIRE life.

The idea that it matters which side of the uniparty has control, or that any substantial difference would come from selecting the “Right Guy”, if the people even still have ANY say in it, is laughable.

There is THEM and US. D or R, they have far more loyalty to each other than for any they ‘represent’.

Total destruction and rebuild with a better system is the only way this improves.

The current ‘democratic’ systems, aren’t. Most never were. It was designed that way.

The swamp is too deep. You think Fauci is an anomaly? There are hundreds, if not thousands, of civil servants who run the federal government agencies that are just like Fauci. They have seen Presidents come and go. They act only on their agendas. If the President and them are in sync they execute policy. If President goes against them they resist.
One man cannot overcome this entrenched bureaucracy. Trump, RFKjr. Desantis, Carlson it matters not who is President. They are all woke and support the neocons. Only way would be to fire them all. Many have protected federal positions which makes it nearly impossible to fire them. The federal civil service system is broken, one man will not fix it.

TLate – Trump signed Schedule F excepted service category in Executive Order 13957 of October 21, 2020 which made federal employees fire-able / layoff at will.

One of the first things Joe’s handlers had him do was reverse it on JANUARY 22, 2021. I still wonder if Trump is part of the club or just a clueless dupe. Or both lol.

Love him, but JHK’s weird Baghdad Bob blind spot is thinking Russia is winning. What the MIC and NeoCons are really afraid of is 1) Ukraine evicts Russia from even Crimea 2) Putin finally gets one to the back of the head 3) The new Russian oligarchical regime is at least compliant if not friendly with Europe.

In other words, the US ends up best buddies with a blasted up Ukraine and foots the reconstruction bill (not a MIC thing) but Europe gets all the bennies, big piece of the arm sales, and maybe has no need for NATO anymore.

Don’t underestimate how much the MIC loves to have lots of big enemies around to justify sapping our economy as much as possible.

There are ZERO truth tellers with large platforms especially Fox, CNN or MSNBC. Hell, Joe Blow from Idaho gets banned from Facebook or Twitter for posting real truth exposing the usual suspects. My friend was banned from Nextdoor for “covid misinformation “.
It’s all rigged folks.

The situation will implode, not explode. So as long as you stay outside liberal democrat zones, where they will be burying themselves in victims, you only have to worry about external forces showing up to push them over the edge. Our greatest defense will be missy yoga pants, who will blow her top when she figures this one out.
