Ursel, this is the version of the story — the grassy knoll shooter — which seemed to make the most sense to me years ago, until I learned what really happened. See if you can dig this:
On every rooftop of every building facing Commerce Street, where Kennedy’s motorcade turned, were no less than a dozen hired snipers; these buildings — the Old Red Courthouse, the Federal Building and the Book Depository — also had snipers inside; apparently JFK was grazed by a hit from a Book Depository sniper, who was on the same floor as Oswald allegedly was, but on the other side of the building, the one overlooking the grassy knoll!
So that would be the first shot that hit JFK; where the second one, the kill shot, came from blew my mind (pardon the expression) when I read it: the sewer. That put it all together for me.
There were so many bullets flying around that people heard ricochets and one guy got hit in the face with a cement chip from the curb. The snipers kept missing JFK’s motorcade, until the guy in the Book Depository got a partial hit, so the driver of JFK’s limo actually slows down visibly, in non-adulterated footage (they sped the film up), to let one of them get a clean shot at close range: the guy in the sewer, with a shotgun. The sewer is still there, right in front of the JFK memorial; that is where the memorial ought to be.
Watch the footage now and try to unsee it.
I forgot to add: one of the rounds which hit Connally, part of the Magic Bullet Theory, was just indeed a missed shot at JFK from one of the snipers.
That’s why Connally was given the Royal Treatment and subsequently absolved of any culpability in the JFK plot, given the Full Honors burial and buildings and prison units named after him, and hardly mentioned in the official story.
