The public is not concerned about “Russian aggression,” the Trump inditement, or even the MSM wrench about aliens. No one cares — the average person is struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living. Homelessness is on the rise as people cannot afford shelter. The blank checks to Ukraine are a slap in the face of those begging for help at home. These politicians need to work for us. No one campaigning is going to make a dent in the polls unless they clearly detail how they plan to address INFLATION! And no, the problem is not limited to America. Inflation has nothing to do with money printing. It’s a complete scam. When the government backed mega corporation monopoly owns all the grocery stores and all the food brands they can raise the prices to whatever they want because there’s no competition. The high food and gas prices is to punish all of us for the 4 years of Trump. They’re hiking prices on purpose to make us pay for all the money they lost under Trump.
The primary cause of inflation is the constant increase in the money supply. Too much money chasing the same number of goods. Econ 101.

Printing money is irrelevant. The money has to be spent before it can be placed into circulation. The FED can print all the money in the world, but if no one spends it, it will just sit there, never making it into the money supply.
It is the government and consumer using credit that is the real mechanism by which the excess money is injected into the system. The Fed is simply filling the order. Every time a credit purchase is made, it creates inflation because of the interest on the purchase forces more money to be spent than the actual cost of the product. That is what causes inflation.
It is like the person with diabetes blaming the candy bar and soda factories for his disease. Put the blame where is actually belongs.
Don’t let them blind you with their dog and pony shows. All the kings and princes are their men even Trump. The entire world economy is based on fossil fuels. The EROI of a barrel of oil has been declining for decades which makes economic growth harder and more complicated to achieve. Energy is either too expensive for consumers or not profitable enough for producers, that is the conundrum, so it goes back and forth between the two. The root cause of inflation is credit. You cannot use credit without causing inflation.
The use of credit creates money out of thin air, and the fact that there is interest placed upon the credit ensures that more money is created than the cost or value of the product purchased. Every time you swipe your credit card and do not pay off the balance that month, you are creating inflation. Every time you use credit to purchase anything and carry debt you create inflation.
The FED and the banks do not create inflation, the consumers who finance a lifestyle beyond their earnings is what creates inflation. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Buying things you cannot afford on credit has the reaction of devaluing your savings and paycheck. If you want to see who is responsible for you not being able to afford what you need, look in the mirror.

The Federal Reserve does not force feed money into the economy, they only make available the money that was created whenever someone who cannot afford to buy something, buys it anyway on credit. The money supply increases because of credit borrowing, and the more the money supply increases above the production of goods and services, the more money is in the system chasing the same amount of goods and services making the money worth less and less and less.

I had an 8% student loan to pay for my last two years of law school, and unlike today, the interest wasn’t tax deductible, I paid them all back, and early, in fact the loan company reported that I had stopped paying my loans, royally pfucking up my credit, I asked the credit agency what happened, the were all snarky telling me “Sir. You stopped paying back your student loans, that’s what.” I responded by asking them why should I keep making payments when they were all paid off? They apparently had no experience with people paying them off ten years early.
Unlike my nephew, who “financed” getting his engineering degree by spending two years eating the sand and dust of Al Anbar province, most of them probably took out loans for their gender queer studies degrees and are suddenly finding out they can’t pay them back.
As for me, yes I got the stimulus checks, I used the first one to buy silver under $15.00 an ounce and some Bitcoin under 10K, and the Second, the Biden Bux to buy a couple more Garands. Because using the money sent by the Biden Regime to buy firearms seemed like the appropriate thing to do.

I read that the number of houses on the market is down about 20% yoy. I have a friend who is a real estate agent. She has a single mother as a client who is an immigrant from Peru who has been here on a work visa for 11 years as a Spanish teacher. The client signed a contract for a 300k house. She was approved for the loan through Chase Bank. The payment will be $2500 a month which takes up 50% of her income. Houses around here are still being snatched up immediately.

People who would have upgraded from their starter homes are locked in by the interest rates, restricting supply of starter homes, making it difficult for new buyers to enter the market.
About three years ago you could buy a nice, non renovated house in Macias or Lubec for less than $80k, now they are going for three times that. I only look for pre renovated houses because for some reason every time hey renovate a house they remove the walls between the kitchen and the rest of the house, and they replace the wooden doors with plastic ones. And if there’s a wood cook stove they pull it out and replace it with an electric stove. It’s mind boggling.
