Showdown Slow Down

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. — Marcu Aurelius

Stop the steal': The deep roots of Trump's 'voter fraud' strategy - BBC News

What’s up with dragging out the vote count in Arizona and Nevada, promising to deliver the last 20-percent of the count by a certain hour and then missing their deadline more than once, while dribbling out a few packets of, shall we say, choice cuts, here and there? I’ll tell you what: an organized mind-fuck. They are aiming to demoralize their adversaries and exhaust them psychologically so that when victory finally comes, the winners will be too emotionally depleted to do their end-zone dances — and the voters will be too dispirited to cheer.

Democrats, Not ‘Democracy,’ at Risk Today

Democrats, Not 'Democracy,' at Risk Today by Patrick Buchanan

What do liberal Democrats do, if, in a free and fair election, U.S. voters throw them out and replace them with people our elites routinely equate with fascists and Nazis? We may be about to find out.

“Make no mistake — democracy is on the ballot for us all.”

So declaiming in his Union Station speech to the nation on the real stakes in the 2022 elections, President Joe Biden, who was immediately echoed by Barack Obama, painted himself and his party into a corner.

For if Trump Republicans carry the day Tuesday, Biden will have to declare, if there is any consistency left in him, a “defeat for democracy” and a victory for the party that he has said is steeped in “semi-fascism.”

Assume, for the sake of argument, a GOP capture of the House of Representatives and of a majority of the U.S. Senate.

Treacherous Times Ahead

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

I believe that the 2022 election may be the catalyst. Not all people who voted for Trump and/or are Republicans believe that the election of 2020 was rigged. I have been warning for months, that reliable sources in DC, or the Corruption District, have been planning to hand citizenship to illegal aliens before the election to rig the midterms. In addition, they were pushing to indict Trump. Either, but more likely BOTH, may be carried out. I fear this will backfire on them for there will be conservative democrats who will not be happy with handing out citizenship like candy on Halloween.

The GOP Must Adopt a ‘No Prisoners’ Agenda for 2023

The GOP Must Adopt a 'No Prisoners' Agenda for 2023

We are going to crush the Democrats in 2022, and there will be a temptation to sigh and wipe our brow and think it’s all over, but instead of relaxing in 2023 the GOP needs to attack. Think Attila the Hun charging at the head of his horde. Think George Patton leading the Third Army. Think Brian Stelter, who is a potato, when he sees a buffet. We need to crush their dreams and make them howl in the run-up to 2024, when we will retake the presidency and put a sharpened stake through the shriveled heart of the leftist monster.

We will have power soon. We must use it.

They will cry. We must drink their tears.

Idea: In 2022, Let’s Nominate Candidates Who Aren’t Awful

Idea: In 2022, Let’s Nominate Candidates Who Aren’t Awful

To save our country from President *’s reign of error, the Republican Party is going to have to think outside the box, push the envelope, and execute other similar cliches. I have a suggestion for an innovative strategy for the 2022 election cycle that might well overcome the usual GOP establishment tendency toward failure. I say – and you may want to sit down – that this time we should pick some candidates that don’t suck.

Hear me out. It’s kind of crazy, but it just might work.
