“I want to respectfully present an alternative view of the State of The Union,” retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor said in a video posted on X.

Macgregor begins by explaining how the Constitution mandates that the government promote the general welfare. This obligates Washington to secure the basic necessities of life, such as energy, food, and shelter.

“Regrettably, the current administration is failing to perform these tasks,” Macgregor said.

The combat war veteran and former senior advisor to the Secretary of Defense under the Trump administration, who is now the CEO of the media company “Our Country, Our Choice,” said Biden claims the economy is booming but noted that “much of it comes from government spending and employment,” adding that the government share of GDP is 42%—including federal, state, and local spending.

I’ve followed Colonel Douglas Macgregor on Judge Napalitano’s “Judging Freedom” podcast for 2 years and I’ve concluded he’s a genuine hero, scholar and devoted patriot.  He led a tank unit in the Iraq war that was a smashing success.  He’s not a general because he didn’t sell out to the MIC as did Milley, McChrystal and the other traitors.  I’ve prayed a military man would step up and lead the charge to save our country.  Now one has.

RFK Jr. Interviews Col. Douglas Macgregor On Ukraine

Demonstrating once again his extraordinary quality as a free and heterodox thinker, presidential candidate RFK, Jr. interviews Colonel Douglas Macgregor about U.S. policy in Ukraine in the May 5 episode of his podcast. It would be hard to overstate just how much this interview is a departure from conventional MSM and U.S. government orthodoxy and practice. Colonel Macgregor is without question the most knowledgable and strident critic of the U.S. government’s (blundering and destructive) war policy.

This seems a good place to note that the U.S. government and its ideologically possessed advisors apparently have NO concept of war beyond that of a resentful and violent adolescent who wishes to destroy his adversaries without considering the ultimate practical consequences of doing so. Contrast the warlords in Washington with the Prussian general and military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz, whose book, On War, presents an incomparably sensible definition of war as an instrument of international politics. Because Chapter 24 is so often poorly translated, I’ll include the original German and my translation.
