An enduring mystery for three years is how Donald Trump came to be the president who shut down American society for what turned out to be a manageable respiratory virus, setting off an unspeakable crisis with waves of destructive fallout that continue to this day.

Let’s review the timeline and offer some well-founded speculations about what happened.

On March 9, 2020, Trump was still of the opinion that the virus could be handled by normal means.

Two days later, he changed his tune. He was ready to use the full power of the federal government in a war on the virus.

In Order To Make America Great Again, Does Donald Trump Need To Sit Out 2024?

Despite being the only Republican candidate who could have won in 2016, he is currently (in my mind, at least) the only one who could lose in 2024.

 I am a big picture guy. For my money, Donald Trump’s presidency was greatest not for the many policies he enacted, but because of what he represented. I have the words to back it up; in the aftermath of the 2020 election I wrote that “Win Or Lose, Trump Saved America.” I still stand by every word. The movement Trump inspired – arguably one of the greatest conservative revivals in American history – was born of his justified hostility to the corporate media, unabashed love of country, and general fearlessness. He alerted us to the evils of a propagandist media and cocooned D.C ruling class. Jeb wasn’t going to defeat Hillary, let alone spill in the beans on a Bush-family gravy train.

Well, it looks like the vagina-hat-wearing folks who advocate for middle-aged cross-dressing she-males sharing bathrooms with our daughters is upset by the word “shithole”. Now, Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) has objected to the term “chain migration”.

Have you ever noticed how the mainstream corporate media and Political Left, in the shameless pursuit of power, insincerely and hypocritically use language to enforce their orthodoxies and control the free speech and actions of their political opponents?

What is the best way for this tactic to be effectively fought?
