Republicans Should Consider the Innovative Strategy of Not Screwing This Up

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

All the Republicans have to do to win against that desiccated, corrupt, senile old pervert is just not be weird and not be stupid, and to show people that they’re competent and capable of governing. But being Republicans, there’s considerable doubt that they can pull that off. There are several things that indicate that they may very well revert to form and blow the whole thing, ensuring our country goes down the tubes under the reign of whoever’s pulling the strings on Grandpa Badfinger.

You can’t Make America Great Again on the outside looking in and watching the election get stolen. We have got to win.

Donald Trump’s Chances of Winning Are Better Than Ever

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

I would be so excited to be proven wrong. I mean, I would be thrilled. I would put on a little hat and do a little NYPD dance team dance, singing, “I was wrong, I was wrong! Hooray, hooray, hooray!” That’s what I would do if Donald Trump wins in November. I supported Ron DeSantis for many reasons, but a major one was that I believed Donald Trump was nearly certain to be defeated in the coming election. Well, Donald Trump appears to be doing a lot better right now. I think he’s still more likely than not going to lose, but if I’m wrong, I am thrilled about it.

Liberal Activists Reveal Their Biggest Fear About a Trump 2024 Victory

Submitted by Philip B

Via The Tennessee Star

Should former President Donald Trump win the 2024 presidential election, liberal activists fear difficulty raising funds to support their operations, according to a report by Politico.

Trump is the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, having won the first two primary contests of Iowa and New Hampshire, and is currently ahead of President Joe Biden, the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination, in polls of battleground states. Should Trump become the 47th president of the United States in 2025, activists express the fear that they will lose donations amid dissatisfaction with politics from their supporters, Politico’s Michael Schaffer reported.

The Last Republican

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Over the weekend, Ron DeSantis dropped out of the presidential race to support a Trump victory. Trump replied that he is retiring the “DeSanctimonious” nickname indefinitely. DeSantis pulled a Ramaswamy by exiting the race before facing off against Trump AND his supporters.  “It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance,” DeSantis said. This now leaves Nikki Haley as Trump’s main opposition.

Democrats Are Right to Be Scared of Trump’s Vengeance

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

I don’t understand why the supporters of the party of Hamas and failure are giving Donald Trump an in-kind campaign contribution in the form of their girlish, fussy cries of “He’s an authoritarian!” but okay. That the Trump 2.0 administration would ruthlessly use all the powers at its disposal should Trump win in 2024 to punish his enemies is about the best argument there is for giving him the Grover Cleveland nod.

Vengeance? Oh yeah. The more brutal, the better.

Can Trump Actually Win In November?

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

There’s a huge difference between some chud with a username like @MagaBeefcake8008 insisting that Trump can win in the general election, and some neutral guy who’s earned a little bit of respect for actually performing adequately over time with his predictions saying so. Well, that’s happening. People who are not bizarre weirdos who previously thought Donald Trump was doomed in the general are now arguing that Donald Trump might well win. Is it true?

That’s debatable, and I am not convinced. But what’s not debatable is that some intelligent and reasonable people who are not involved in Trump’s campaign and who have no dog in the fight have changed their minds about Trump’s ability to win in November. Wherever you stand on an issue, you have to consider all the evidence, even if it challenges what you think. Especially if it challenges what you think.

Watch: Rand Paul Says It’s “Difficult To Imagine Trump Winning” In 2024

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,

GOP Senator Rand Paul says that he thinks it is difficult to imagine Donald Trump winning another term in office because of the magnitude of everything that is being done by Democrats and the establishment to prevent it happening.

“It’s difficult to image Trump winning, but it’s also difficult to imagine anything more unfair they could do to him, and also how pitiful the performance of Biden has been, and how frail and detached that he looked in doing his job,” Paul said during an interview with Piers Morgan.

GOP Pledge: No More Talking About Trump

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

GOP Pledge: No More Talking About Trump

The media are so desperate for Republicans to nominate Donald Trump that they’ve turned over 96.7% of their programming to covering him, with brief interruptions for Emmett Till updates. Like dogs playing a game of fetch for eternity, they never tire of rehashing Trump’s legal troubles, his behavior on Jan. 6 (which has now been more investigated than the Kennedy assassination), his payment to a stripper, his call to election officials in Georgia and on and on and on.

It has become clear that the media also plan to make the GOP presidential primaries entirely about Trump. Every Republican running for president is required to spend half of any interview answering questions about the former president. Even when they’re not saying anything at all about him, somehow the media make it about Trump.

Watch: Trump Promises “Final Battle” To “Demolish The Deep State”

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,

During a speech in North Carolina this past weekend, President Trump promised to “demolish the deep state” in what will be “a final battle.”

“We are a failing nation. We are a nation in decline. And now these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement. It’s totally corrupt and we can’t let it happen,” Trump told the crowd.

“This is the final battle,” he further urged, adding “With you at my side, we will demolish the Deep State, we will expel the warmongers from our government, we will drive out the globalists, we will cast out the communists, we will throw off the sick political class that hates our country.”

Trump continued, “We will roll out the fake news media, we will expose the RINOs for what they are, we will defeat Joe Biden and we will liberate America from these villains once and for all.”

“We’re going to liberate our country. The silent majority is rising, and under our leadership, the forgotten man or woman will never be forgotten again,” Trump vowed.

Donald Trump Is Being Persecuted for Standing Up for the American People

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

First I offer more explanation why Trump is our last chance despite his incorrect positions on some issues, and despite his incompetence in his first term in staffing his administration and failure  to stand behind General Flynn, thus setting off Russiagate and marking himself for failure.

As I predicted, Trump took on the ruling establishment without an administration committed to the task. Trump’s appointees, which include the current FBI director, could not have been any worse.  In effect, Trump doomed himself to failure and persecution.

How The Primaries Will Go

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

Ron DeSantis and whoever the governor of East Dakota – or is it one of the other Dakotas? – is are now in the 2024 race and Trump has to deal with that. Not with the Dakota guy – he’s another joke of Asa-like proportions angling for a cabinet post – but with the governor of Florida, whose hardcore conservative record and $8.2 million first-day haul have the president nervous. You can tell RDS is causing Trump PTSD by the even more incoherent than usual Truth Social meltdowns and the insane ramblings of his dumber superfans. And DJT should be nervous – Ron DeSantis has a good chance of winning the nomination, but it’s no lock. Trump has name recognition and inertia and those superfans. He can win the nomination – some might say he is likely to, though I think it’s an uphill fight for him despite his current poll position. But it’s early and no one knows anything.

How Not to Be President

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

Now that we know Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is running for president (along with several others whose names I can’t remember), I have a helpful primer on what NOT to do as president.

I base this advice on the conduct of the most inconsequential president in U.S. history, Donald Trump. With the exception of the judiciary — something neither he nor Jared saw a way of monetizing, thank God — Trump’s entire presidency can be summarized as: obnoxious tweets, followed by immediate and complete capitulation.

The problem with the Trump diehards is that they’d read the bad-ass tweets, pump their fists, but then wander off, never bothering to find out what happened next. Here’s what happened: Trump surrendered. Over and over and over again.

Remember That After the Primary We Need to Work Together

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

I do not want you to do what you might think I am telling you to do. I do not want you to support or oppose any candidate because you think I support or oppose him/her/xir. For too long, too many pundits have thought it was their place to tell you what to think and what to do, and you are as sick of it as I am. So, you can agree with me, partially agree with me, or totally disagree with me when I tell you what I think. But you need to make up your own mind about who to support in 2024. That’s how we conservatives should do it.

Let’s have a tough primary. Just remember that we are all in the same fight.

You’re Being Played, Republicans!

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

A few years ago, I posted this riddle on Twitter:

What’s easier to roll than an Easter egg?

Answer: Donald Trump.

Now, I can add:

What’s easier to roll than Donald Trump?

Answer: Republican voters.

Democrats are playing Republicans like a fiddle. The left’s sole objective is to make Trump the Republicans’ 2024 presidential nominee. He’s already lost three election cycles for the GOP — why not make it four?

A month ago, things were looking bad for the Democrats.

Trump’s Good Couple Weeks

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

If CPAC 2023 proved anything, it was that Donald Trump still has his dedicated fans – from Brick Suit Guy (a smart, nice dude who fully absolutely gets the wackiness of his act) to a family wearing shirts bearing one letter each of the ex-prezzy’s name to the scores regular folks who adore him, the president remains beloved. They lined up and waited for hours to see him speak again, and he delivered again – his never-ending speech (heavy on policy but DeSantis-free) was generally well-received. Even the DeSantis-curious qualified their moving-on with respect for the accomplishments of Trump’s first three years and agreed that the Florida governor should have shown up and thrown down. Combine all that with a triumphant spin through East Palestine (the best day of Donald Trump’s ex-presidency) and at least some surging poll numbers, and it’s been a pretty good couple weeks for the Bad Orange Man.
