Floydian Slips Thoughts on the Death of a Curious Saint

Guest Post by Fred Reed

In my police-reporting days

Question: Was their anything racial in Floyd’s death? That is, is there any reason to believe that if Floyd had been a white petty criminal and drug addict,  but otherwise identical to Floyd, would Chauvin have behaved differently? Accounts differ. By some he is said to have been reprimanded for being “overzealous,” meaning pushing people around. ”  I can find no credible evidence that he singled out blacks. If such evidence existed, the media would have trumpeted it nonstop. His wife was Meng, a member of a nonwhite Southeast Asian hill tribe. This is not consistent with general racial prejudice.

“The Whole George Floyd Story Was A Lie”: Tucker Carlson

Via ZeroHedge

Tucker Carlson just challenged one of the left’s most sacred of cows – George Floyd, an ex-con who died with an elephant-dose of fentanyl in his system and a history of health issues, while in custody of Minneapolis police on May 25, 2020.

According to Carlson, we need to revisit certain popular narratives, including the circumstances surrounding Floyd’s death – and in particular, inconsistencies between public perception – that Floyd died under the knee of former officer Derek Chauvin, who’s currently serving more than 40 years in state and federal sentences.

And the answer is, well, no, he didn’t murder George Floyd, and we’re not guessing about that; we know it conclusively thanks to a new court case now underway in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The Anniversary the Media Would Prefer You Forget

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

How did I miss the third anniversary of George Floyd’s death? Were the media caught sleeping? Three years ago, Floyd was given funerals in three states, carried in a gold casket and driven to his final resting place in a horse-drawn carriage. It was like the funeral for a pharaoh.

From Floyd’s death on May 25, 2020, to the end of the year, The New York Times alone ran more than 4,000 articles about him. But exactly three years later, Floyd’s name made it into only three Times items — fleetingly and barely.

Are the media (and Democrats, and Hollywood, and corporate America, and the universities and grade schools, and hospitals and military and President Biden) hoping we’ll forget about their weird campaign to make black Americans even angrier?
