Judge Releases New Mexico Jihadists on Bond After Attorneys Complain of Racism

Five alleged Muslim extremists who are accused of training children to carry out school shootings have been released on bond after one of their attorneys complained that the men were only being targeted because they’re “black and Muslim,” as opposed to “white and Christian.”

Judge Sarah Backus said that prosecutors didn’t prove the alleged jihadists were “a danger to the community” and released them on a $20,000 “signature bond,” which means they won’t even have to pay the fee unless they violate the conditions of their release.

French church set on fire and spray painted with the words “Allahu Akbar”

A church in Orleans was set on fire on 25 July. Police discovered the words “Allahu Akbar” spray painted on a wall, 20minutes France reports.

On Wednesday night The Saint-Pierre du Matroi church in Orleans was set on fire with “criminal intent”, according to police sources.

Furniture and sheet music were burned and the heinous graffiti found. One of which said “Allahu Akbar”. Fortunately the fire was extinguished quickly by firemen and it didn’t burn the church’s supporting structure.

ISIS Claims Responsibility For Deadly Toronto Mass Shooting

In the immediate aftermath of Monday’s tragic shooting in Toronto which claimed three lives, including the shooter’s, and injured over a dozen, the narrative that gunman Faisal Hussain, 29, had mental problems. The shooting came three months after the driver of a van plowed into pedestrians on a Toronto sidewalk, killing 10 people.

The Hussain family released a statement expressing their condolences to the families “who are now suffering on account of our son’s horrific actions.”

More importantly, the statement cast Feisal as a mentally unstable young man, and not a terrorist:

Catholic children forced to learn Islamic songs at Austrian elementary school

At an elementary school in Linz, Catholic children have to memorise and recite Islamic songs as part of the Islamic Ramadan festival. They were forced to take part and were punished if they refused.

“We were on our way home when he suddenly started to sing ‘Allah, Allah’,” a shocked mother of one of the students says. He learned that at school and had to sing it. “It felt like a slap in my face!” she adds.

“Mom, we have to get involved. The teacher said: “If we do not do that, we’ll have to go to the director and then there’ll be a punishment,” the son reported in fear of his mother’s reprisals. For two months he had to rehearse the songs.

Austria to close 7 mosques, expel foreign-funded imams in crackdown on political Islam

Austria’s government said on Friday, that the country plans to shut down 7 mosques and expel up to 60 imams, newspaper Kronen reports.

Foreign-funded imams and mosques promoting political Islam are main targets of the measures. They will be mostly conducted against mosques and imams controlled by Turkey.

“The circle of people possibly affected by these measures – the pool that we’re talking about – comprises around 60 imams,” Interior Minister Herbert Kickl said.

‘Islamist Barbarism Sheds Blood Again’: French Gov’t Slammed After Paris Attack

Saturday night’s stabbing attack in Paris that left one person dead and several injured has prompted a massive backlash from the leaders of right-wing parties in France, who demand immediate action from the government.

Following the late night attack, the leader of National Front (FN), Marine Le Pen took to Twitter to address the government’s efforts in dealing with terrorists, suggesting their endeavors are insufficient.

“The French people will no longer be satisfied with words, they wait for actions,” she tweeted.

Several Killed After Driver Ploughs Into Pedestrians ‘Deliberately’ in Munster, Germany

A number of people are reported dead after a vehicle was driven into a group of pedestrians in Munster, Germany.

Police say the attack took place in the city’s old town, near the Kiepenkerl statue. They have confirmed the driver of the vehicle shot himself at the scene, and are describing the crash as “deliberate”.

Aram Kurd, Hawkar Hassan, and Arkan Ali Charged After Leicester Shop Blast Kills Five

Three men have been charged following the shop blast which levelled a section of buildings in Leicester and killed five, according to police.

Aram Kurd, of Leicester, Hawkar Hassan, of Coventry, and Arkan Ali, of Oldham, are due in court on Monday the 5th of March on charges of manslaughter and arson, the BBC reports.

Another two men, both from East Anglia, are currently in police custody and under questioning.

Canadian officials have released a video in which Carlos Larmond, a man facing terrorism related charges, is seen beaten up by two other inmates. According to the Ottawa Citizen, the incident happened six months ago – in March 2015 and was released by officials after the clip was shown in an Ottawa courtroom. In the video, a bearded Carlos Larmond us seen being beaten up by two of his co-inmates at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre.
