Large Canadian hospital: before COVID, they’d see 2 cases per year. Now they see 27 in just 6 weeks. That’s a 117X increase. But the CDC says it’s only “slightly elevated.”

The IWK Health Centre is a major pediatric hospital and trauma center in Halifax, Nova Scotia that provides care to maritime youth, children and women from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and beyond.

They’ve seen 27 myocarditis cases in a 6 week period for kids under 18. Normally, they see 2 cases a year. So they are seeing an increase of 117X the normal rate.

I heard this from a hospital insider. Don’t expect them to publicly say anything. That’s just not the way it works nowadays.

This report concerns word just received from an old friend of mine about a friend of his (whom I also know) about his son, who – like an alarming number of other people’s sons (and daughters) has developed heart problems.

It is alarming because young people used to develop heart problems rarely, if ever. Until about two years ago, that is. Now, for some reason, it has become almost as common as acne among young people.

Yet almost no one wants to talk about why that is. What might be the cause of it. The one thing that has changed during the past two years that might account for it, since the two things are congruent.

Of course, correlation isn’t necessarily causation. And yet, three years ago, it was.

A huge new study has found the risk of serious heart problems called myocarditis in men under 40 soars with each dose of a Covid mRNA vaccine – and is sharply higher than the risk from a coronavirus infection itself.

The findings call into sharp question the efforts by American colleges and universities to make their students receive booster shots before returning to school this January – especially since other studies have shown that the risk of post-vaccine myocarditis is concentrated not merely in men under 40 but in those aged 16-25.

The study, which British researchers released in late December, showed that the risk of myocarditis almost doubled after the first Pfizer shot in men under 40. Then it doubled again after the second and doubled again after the third – to almost eight times the baseline risk.

So it’s likely that 1 in 70 teenage boys are affected. That’s not rare. Why isn’t anyone speaking out about this? Is it fear? Of what?

I’ve written earlier about Monte Vista Christian school.

I just heard that there’s another case of myocarditis at the school, so now there are now 4 cases in 285 vaccinated boys (estimate), bringing the incidence rate to nearly 1 in 70, assuming all the cases are boys (285/4=71.25). This is not rare. This is a disaster.

Anecdotal data from a pediatric cardiologist shows an estimated 100X increase in myocarditis rates. Cardiologists can’t speak out without risking retribution. I have a way to change that… instantly.

I just read a comment on my private “healthcare providers only” substack.

An estimated100X elevation in rate of myocarditis, but nobody will learn of it since cardiologists aren’t going to speak out for fear of retribution

His comment was a private conversation he had with a pediatric cardiologist. The cardiologist is never going to say this in public, to the press, or have his name revealed since his first duty is to his family (keeping his job). If a “fact checker” called the cardiologist, he might either refuse to comment or say “I’m seeing somewhat more cases after the vaccine rolled out.”

Researchers in the New England Journal of Medicine raise the possibility of an uncontrolled autoimmune response to the coronavirus spike protein that may last indefinitely

Downstream effects of the antibodies that people produce against the coronavirus spike protein may lead to myocarditis and even neurological concerns, two veteran medical researchers have written in the top medical journal in the United States.

Our immune systems produce these antibodies in response to both vaccination and natural infection with Covid. However – though the researchers do not say so explicitly, possibly because doing so would be politically untenable – spike protein antibody levels are MUCH higher following vaccination than infection. Thus the downstream response to vaccination may be more severe.
