So the folks who took a drubbing on November 8th have dried out their hankies and are back at it with a clueless vengeance. After putting a hard day in decrying “fake news” it’s time to take a little breather and hang out with some of your closest friends and donors and just have a little something to eat down at the Museum of Modern Art, with everyone’s favorite coven leader and spirit cook, Marina Abromovic and a couple dozen disembodied human heads. And for desert? Why no upscale elite function would be complete without a human cake, nes pas?
Meanwhile Snopes is furiously tip-tap-tapping at their keyboards to reassure the hoi polloi that there is indeed, nothing to see here. Now move along plebes, this is beyond your ability to grasp, culture-wise.

The internet was ablaze with speculation Friday morning following Wikileaks’ publication of a potentially disturbing email thread between John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, and his brother Tony, an influential Democratic lobbyist.
In the email, Tony asks his brother if he is able to attend a “Spirit Cooking dinner.” He says the artist hosting the dinner, Marina Abramovic, “wants [him] there,” and a previous email in the thread shows the artist requesting John’s presence at her New York City home.
Abramovic, a Serbian performance artist, has apparently conducted these dinners since the 1990s. While the title “Spirit Cooking dinner” suggests they constitute a harmless – if not spiritual — practice, some components of the “recipes” are raising alarm.
