Hillary Clinton’s ‘insurmountable’ lead is fuzzy math

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The mainstream media is misleading the public by adopting a “fuzzy math” in treating the delegate counts for the Democratic nominating convention as carved in stone.
Given its bias against Donald Trump, the media are happy to parrot the Republican establishment’s prediction that their convention in Cleveland will be an “open convention” — that is, open to manipulation by the apparatchiks and the rules they set.
By the same token, given its pronounced bias in favor of Hillary Clinton, the media gladly repeat the spin of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic establishment by portraying that party’s contest as essentially over.
Not only compromised television anchors like MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, whose wife is drawing support from various Clintonites in her bid for a congressional seat in Maryland, are implying that the Democratic frontrunner’s lead in delegates is insurmountable. As a rule, pundits and even print reporters glibly adopt the inevitability spin.

Rigged Democracy – Nearly 10% Of Democratic Party Superdelegates Are Lobbyists

On July 25, these superdelegates will cast votes at the Democratic National Convention for whomever they want, regardless of primary and caucus outcomes. Democrats like to describe superdelegates as mostly elected officials and prominent party members, including President Obama and former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
But this group, which consists of 21 governors, 40 senators and 193 representatives, only makes up about a third of the superdelegates. Many of the remaining 463 convention delegates are establishment insiders who get their status after years of donations and service to the party. Dozens of the 437 delegates in the DNC member category are registered federal and state lobbyists, according to an ABC News analysis.
In fact, when you remove elected officials from the superdelegate pool, at least one in seven of the rest are former or current lobbyists registered on the federal and state level, according to lobbying disclosure records.

Elite & their Undemocratic Superdelegates/Electoral College

Most people are clueless as to the legality of what they are doing when they vote. You think you are voting for a candidate, you do NOT. You actually do not vote for candidates, you vote for delegates to represent you only on the first vote at the convention and then they are “Free” to vote whomever THEY want – not you. Even in the national election, you technically and legally do not vote for candidates. You vote for delegates to represent you in the Electoral College process. You never actually vote for a person.
The audacity of Mit Romney to come out and bash Trump yet not endorsing anyone else was a blatant play to be drafted by the Republican elite looking to rob the people of any Democratic process. Romney is deeply entrenched within the elite. In July 2012, Cheney used his Wyoming home to host a private fund-raiser for Romney, which netted over $4 million in contributions from attendees for Romney’s campaign. If Romney were to be President, Cheney would not be far away hiding in the shadows.
