Everything That’s Wrong With the Mainstream Media and Finance in One Picture

It’s hard to recall a more despicable and widespread public-relations effort to transform the image of an obvious villain.

Of course, I’m referring to the mainstream media’s treatment of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF).

It’s reminiscent of the movie Batman Returns, where a corrupt media tries to polish the image of the repugnant criminal Oswald Cobblepot—better known as the Penguin.

SBF founded FTX in 2019. The company seemed to come out of nowhere to become one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges in mere months.

How did this strange newcomer—who didn’t know much about Bitcoin—suddenly become the so-called “JP Morgan of Crypto?”

Powerful people in finance, the media, and the government all had a hand in FTX’s meteoric rise. So the company was clearly at the nexus of something important—though the whole picture is not exactly clear at this point.

Being married to a career journalist is a real advantage when you are a talk show host/writer always on the lookout for trophy-size examples of poisonous propaganda disguised as “news”. True, the media landscape is littered with Fake News. But the truly deadly “stories” are those, like copperhead snakes, that blend perfectly with their surroundings and strike when you’re totally off-guard. BAM! Another brain cell of Reason falls victim to the venom of lies, damn lies, and prejudice. The most deadly are those that slither in without the fanfare of attribution; these reptiles have no name.

These three Executive Orders all tie together and a fourth EO is on the way that is being portrayed as a bombshell will further build on these three. Isn’t it amazing how these EO’s are getting NO traction in the MSM? I wonder why that might be.

LIES, LIES & OMG MORE LIES

Every month the government apparatchiks at the Bureau of Lies and Scams (BLS) dutifully announces inflation is still running below 2%. Janet Yellen then gives a speech where she notes her concern inflation is too low and she needs to keep interest rates near zero to save humanity from the scourge of too low inflation. I don’t know how I could survive without 2% inflation reducing my purchasing power.

This week they reported year over year inflation of 1.9%. Just right to keep Janet from raising rates and keeping the stock market on track for new record highs. According to our beloved bureaucrats, after they have sliced, diced, massaged and manipulated the data, you’ve experienced annual inflation of 2.1% since 2000. If you believe that, I’ve got a great real estate deal for you in North Korea on the border with South Korea.

“We’re Coming For You”: AP Accuses NRA Of “Inciting Violence” Against Journalists

In a series of videos released earlier this month, the National Rifle Association declared war on mainstream media and their “globalists masters”, a sign of the group’s transformation into an advocate for conservative causes beyond protecting the second amendment.

Predictably, the Associated Press is not happy. In a story about the new campaign – which debuted on the NRA’s NRATV, a web-video platform run by the association – the AP accused the NRA of employing dangerous rhetoric that risked inciting violence against journalists.

CONSPIRACY OR CHAOS?

Alan Moore, the renowned graphic novel writer, and author of the dystopian classic V for Vendetta, politically identifies as an anarchist. His view that all political states are an outgrowth of anarchy, with the biggest gang taking control and dictating how things will be run, is manifested in V for Vendetta. As an anarchist, you can understand why he is doubtful of conspiracy theories and an all-powerful entity controlling the world. He believes in a chaotic world competing gangs position themselves to gain power and control.

The Guy Fawkes mask from V for Vendetta has been adopted by anarchist groups around the world, including: Anonymous, WikiLeaks, and the Occupy protestors. Moore’s positive view of the Occupy movement was based on his belief ordinary people had the right to reclaim what had been taken from them by criminal bankers. The initial impetus for the Occupy protests was the destruction of Main Street USA by Wall Street sociopaths, who not only escaped prosecution for their crimes, but were bailed out by the taxpayers they had pillaged and further enriched as captured politicians enabled them to get even bigger.
