It’s been a year since my last Beg-A-Thon, and things are drastically different from twelve months ago. Last year at this time TBP views were on a steep upturn, averaging 38,000 per day and ramping into the mid 40,000 range from November through February of this year. Then our daily views suddenly dropped by 25% in the middle of March and have remained in the low 30,000 range since. Nothing changed on the site. If anything, we have increased our daily posts by 25%.
But something out in the search engine world was tweaked to deter searches from bringing TBP up as a link. I can’t prove it, but this happened simultaneously with the outbreak of the Ukraine war. My site has been one of the few who provides the non-MSM approved narrative about Putin being the bad guy. TBP has blown up the Covid narrative and the Ukraine narrative on a daily basis. That most certainly puts it on a list, and has certainly contributed to the large reduction in views. Censorship and suppression is how those in power control the narrative.
