Storm clouds gathering in the Black Sea

Turkish President Recep Erdogan (L) and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (R) with President Biden & NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg (C), NATO Summit, Vilnius,July 11, 2023

The NATO Summit in Vilnius (July 11-12) signalled that there is absolutely no possibility of talks to settle the Ukraine war in a foreseeable future. The war will only intensify, as the US and its allies still hope to inflict a military defeat on Russia although that is clearly beyond their capability.

On July 14, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of US joint chiefs of staff said that Ukraine’s counteroffensive is “far from a failure” but the fight ahead will be “long” and “bloody”. Milley has a reputation for speaking what the White House wants to hear, no matter his professional judgment.

Silos Destroyed in Kiev – False Flag Comes to Fruition

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

I reported in June that the Ukrainians would claim Russia had targeted their wheat silos, and it all comes back to the Ukraine Reconstruction fund by JPMorgan Chase and BlackRock. BlackRock had a tape leaked of a recruiter discussing Russia blowing up Ukrainian wheat silos, causing wheat prices to skyrocket due to shortages. The employee said that Ukraine is great business for BlackRock. As I mentioned earlier:

“Our war cycle indicates tensions will pick up in 2024 – hold on tight. Expect false flags of Russia targeting wheat silos and soaring food prices. Everything is aligned with the Great Reset; this is the branch that is aiming to financially alter the world while others are working on destroying society from within. Ukraine must be destroyed to BUILD BACK BETTER the global financial system.”

Grains of deceit

Grains of deceit

There are several evolving issues that are being watched regarding plans and developments made by the West to open Ukrainian Black Sea commercial ports. A medley of articles has recently popped up on grain shipments from Russia and the grain shortage caused by the conflict. As always, these articles from the corporate Western MSM are part of a propaganda effort to portray Russia in the worst light possible, articles with little or no evidence, just allegations, skewed data or blatantly omitting awkward yet crucial information. This article outlines the developments and issues related to the Ukrainian Black Sea ports, where commercial shipping is trapped and NATO, as well as Ukrainian activities related to Black Sea shipping.

Bear with me as I weave around several distinct topics centered on the non-functioning Ukrainian ports. The main comments are divided in two main parts with an analysis on maritime elements.

Shocking Estimates Show Ukraine’s Crop Harvest Could Be Halved

Via ZeroHedge

Ukraine is one of the world’s top exporters of corn, sunflower oil, and wheat. Disruptions stemming from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have stoked fears the war-torn country could experience a 50% decline in crop output this year, according to Bloomberg.

Forecast data from ag expert UkrAgroConsult show Ukraine’s corn output could be as low as 19 million tons, about half of last year’s 41 million tons.

UkrAgroConsult’s pessimistic outlook follows huge production uncertainties as farmers experience shortages of diesel and fertilizer and bombed-out infrastructure.

The outlooks of two other ag firms aren’t as gloomy. Black Sea research firm SovEcon expects Ukraine’s 2022 corn harvest to be 27.7 million tons, and Barva Invest’s outlook is 29.5 million tons. Both a far below 2021 totals.
