(CNN)—When one man sat down next to a second man in a St. Louis light rail car and asked him his opinion on the shooting of Michael Brown, it was not the beginning of a discussion.
It was the start of an assault, police said.
The second man, who was white, didn’t want to answer the question. Then the first man, who was black, boxed him in the face. Two more African-American men joined in the beating, according to a police report about Monday’s incident.
It was caught on surveillance cameras on the MetroLink train and a passenger recorded it with a cell phone and posted the video online. It has gone viral.
Police confirmed to CNN that the online images came from the attack.
Late commute
The victim, 43, was commuting home when a young man in a red T-shirt and cap walked up to him. The victim asked not to be named in media reports.
The man asked to use the victim’s cell phone. He declined, and the young man sat down beside him.
“Then he asked me my opinion on the Michael Brown thing,” the victim told KMOV, “and I responded I was too tired to think about it right now.”
The suspect, in his 20s, stood up.
“The next thing I know, he sucker punches me right in the middle of my face,” the victim said. The video showed the suspect unleashing a barrage of punches at the head of the victim, who covered himself with his hand and forearms.
The two other men, also in their 20s, joined in, police said. As the train pulled into a station, a security guard saw part of the beating and alerted police.
The man in the red T-shirt could be seen on video kicking at the victim’s face before the train’s doors opened and the assailants ran out.

I might not have enough ammo on me to kill a train car full of ’em but the nigger in the red shirt would have died from acute copper and lead poisoning and I’d worry about the rest of them after that. My guess is they scatter like roaches.
Always be armed people. If not a handgun then a good multishot pepper spray and a locking blade folding knife. Do what you can to live in a place where concealed carry is legal. Do not bury your face in iCrap and keep your head on a swivel when in public. Women should carry a decoy purse while keeping their valuables and handguns elsewhere. Let them take the decoy and go if they want.

St. Louis man viciously attacked on commuter train by perps citing Michael Brown

Make no mistake; a race war is being ginned up, with the assistance of major media, and the lead role being occupied by profiteers of conflict. The shooting of Michael Brown, which even Eric Holder acknowledges was fully justified, has been established in the kinds if many as a symbol of race wrongs crying out for vengeance.
And now a St. Louis man has received critical injuries in attack whose perpetrators used Michael Brown’s name before brutalizing the stranger whom they encountered on a Metrolink train. Surveillance video documents the whole thing. Other passengers simply stood by and offered no assistance.
The fact that this incident has received no national media attention at all is alarming. And an informant in St. Louis tells us that local officials are portraying the incident as a onetime, unusual event, when it is obvious that the city is experiencing serious racial tumult in the wake of the Ferguson riots.
If Eric Holder were a responsible attorney general, he would highlight this incident and call for national reflection on Michael Brown and Ferguson, warning of the need for citizens to cooperate with police, and the dangers of race war based on false impressions ginned up by people more interested in conflict than in peace.
But of course that will never happen. Holder himself, a man who has received every blessing of opportunity in his life, signs onto the cre4d of race victimization as the explanation for all of society’s ills. And his silence assents to the race war being promoted.

I could barely hear what the mo-fo who made this cell phone recording was saying, but it’s suspicious that he taped the entire thing starting before the blows were struck. Makes me think he was in on it and recording it for the perps.
This is my area. Metro St Louis is dieing a slow death. The only reason it isn’t total Afroghanistan now is the large queer community and 40,000 Bosnians. Most people in the suburbs only go there to see the Cardinals and Blues ( the circus part of bread and circuses). Nobody wants Metrolink expanded to the burbs. Even liberal Democrat St Louis county would resist unification with the city.

We can cite George Zimmerman or Bernhard Goetz, but the bottom line is that a MAN shooting an unarmed assailant is courting life-altering problems. That may not be “right,” but it’s reality. A man can win the fight and lose everything else.
It seems to me that a man has little choice but to either be an MMA expert or carry some non-lethal weapon (pepper spray seems like the best of poor choices) to deal with situations where simply shooting the jerks is imprudent. It’s unlikely to get you arrested if you wave a can of spray at someone, while waving a gun at them is a really bad idea. A knife isn’t much better, and few of us have the time or inclination to obtain good training. OC it is.
Also, I suspect most if not all mass transit systems prohibit CCW-holders from carrying on their buses and trains. You might ignore that, but it’s risky; the a-holes have nothing to lose, but you probably do.
The reality to me is that you have to be prepared if possible to deal with armed and unarmed assailants, and the only way you avoid a crowbar motel stay is to have the right level of defense available.
Others disagree?
Most mass transit systems prohibit defensive weapons, CCW license or otherwise, and most states have mass transit allow this. So that’s problem #1.

Glock 19, 15 round mag in the grip, Glock 17 mags (17rds) work great as reloads, carry the gun loaded and 2-3 reload mags, you should be good. You can do the same thing with an M&P9c (12 in the grip, 17 in reloads), the Ruger SR9c, and probably with some other brands/models as well.
Better judged by 12 than carried by 6. Besides, when you’re 70 years old you can’t go man to man with a 20 year old.

Again…this the reason to carry….Bernie G was charged with illegal carry but I belive that was it. The folks he shot got what they deserve.
